Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It was hard to haul upstairs the languages The air conditioner was very weak, couldn't setup cooler. It was a very hot day and night.

The location is close to the beach and different restaurants. The place is clean and easy to use facilities. The breakfast is a good selection of baked goods and coffee. Leandro is an amazing host and very helpful. He recommended a good seafood restaurant to experience local food. He also advised how to easily navigate Rome.

Check in was a bit confusing as there was no onsite staff when we were trying to check in and our internet connection was very spotty and difficult to contact the staff.

Parking was tight but we were thankful there was free parking

Leandro was a wonderful host. Very very helpful and also speaks English so this is helpful.. The place is very handy for the airport. The surrounding area is residential with many restaurants, bars, cafes and Pasticceria's. I woudl strongly recommend this place.

I liked everything about it - particularly the friendliness of the owner and staff and their willingness to help.
Everything! The location was close to the airport. The whole place was spotless, well furnished and equipped and very charming.

Unfortunately the toilet ran constantly and could not be fixed during the time we were there. The other downside was two flight of stairs to carry up significant luggage for a 3 week trip. The host did help us carry them down. We would still recommend this for an overnight.
We needed a staging room to catch a morning flight out of FCO. This served the purpose with a clean room reasonable bed, basic breakfast of breads and coffee. The host was very friendly and helpful with a convenient shuttle in a private car to the airport for 25Euro We learned afterward he could have picked us up too instead of requiring a taxi. Convenient restaurants were nearby.

We did not realize that the lodging was quite so far from the Rome airport. We took a taxi there and it was $40. The lodging was also more expensive than I had anticipated.
The villa was lovely and situated on a quiet suburban street. Our host was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was a reasonable size for an overnight but not any real storage space for a longer stay. I loved that we had a balcony!! The fresh air and lovely neighborhood sights really made this location interesting. The breakfast was typical but fresh and tasty; coffee, juice, pastries (some homemade), yogurt. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had nice amenities, including lots of towels, soaps, hair dryer, etc. Our host provided shuttle service to the airport and very generously helped us carry our bags up the stairs at the villa and in the airport. The host recommended a very nice little restaurant for dinner that was a 5 minute walk.

Room a bit small but if you are there just for a night to be close to the airport it’s OK
Very clean , few min drive from the airport. Self check in and out makes it perfect for late/early flights

My phone wasn't able to use an Italian SIM card so I had trouble communicating so checking in was challenging.

Leandro was very helpful and excellent communicator. It was a well organised place to stay. The room was comfortable and a really nice bathroom. The prices for taxis to and from the airport are expensive in Fiumicino so beware of this

The location is close to the airport but far from Rome if you're going to stay a night and have an early flight the next day it's cool... But to stay longer or any other reason than that no... It's too far from Rome there's no public transportation and hardly any food places a pizza restaurant down the road... It's not the Host fault it is what it is but the Uber will cost you more than you would pay if you were in downtown Rome... I paid 45€ to the airport and because I was jet lagged I stayed 2 days. I slept one day and caught the Uber into Rome the next it was almost a 100€ round trip... Naw it's not worth it to stay here longer than a day... Like I said the only reason I would recommend staying here is because you have a flight Early the next morning... It's not the Host fault but it is what it is... I'm a traveler I traveled to 50 countries in my lifetime and I know how expensive it is... I'm just giving my honest opinion to help people out... If you have a car it's ok to stay here...

We arrived quite late in the evening. The instructions for self-check-in that we were given were detailed and clear. We ordered a room with breakfast and it was a pleasant surprise for us that the room was set with a table and everything for breakfast was provided. That is, we had a little snack in the evening and had breakfast the next day. The owner is a very friendly and nice person. I definitely recommend.
