Facilities are old, but well maintained and clean so it's ok for me.

Great staff, always kind and ready to help. Breakfast is very nice and tasty. Onsen is also good. Location pretty nice for me because it is close to shops and restaurants. Generally speaking very enjoyable 2 day stay.

The property exceed my expectation with the price paid. Room is spacious and can open my big luggage easily. Staff is friendly and can speak good English.

Value for money- well no! The facility is old and had lots of dust on walls and roof. No English speaking staff (but that is normal in japan). Just outside a busy street so lots of traffic.

Location in walking distance from Beppu station. Nice view from the room. The traditional japanese room was nice (and big!) and a great experience but I think you can get the same for less money somewhere else. The bath was nice and fresh. Lots to choose from at breakfast and spacious rooms.

The shower area at the onsen was flooded with water which wasn’t a pleasant experience but the rest was good.

Walls and building are a bit old.

The hotel is very well placed within the city, close to the train station and the city center. The natural hotspring onsen in the hotel is great with an amazing view on Beppu bay and opens early so that you can enjoy the view of the rising sun. The staff was very nice and friendly. Very good food at breakfast.

Room and facilities can look a bit aged, but nevertheless it is still clean and neat.

Breakfast spread is large and plenty of variety. Most important it is tasty/ The hotel location is not far from train station and many rooms have sea view. Onsen is on high floor and great for relaxation. Very value for money.

Location is good with decent free carparks available, and many eateries within walking distance. Onsen is good. Our tatami room sleeps 5 comfortably. Breakfast has good selection of local delicacies.

Onsen is under reconstruction so they gave a voucher to use public onsen nearby. Check in time is 5.00pm (so late) and check out time is 9.00am (too early)

unfortunately the on-site onsen facilities were under renovation but we went to the local onsen which was provided by hotel. super nice. hotel was a bit cold in the hallways but room was super nice!

staff was SUPER nice, very helpful and really accommodated to our needs. they even were helpful with keeping our luggage after we checked out so we could go sightseeing before we went home! super work girls and guys!
