Nothing really, WiFi isn’t great if good connection is essential for you but I suspect this will be the same in most places.

The perfect landing pad to start my trip in Sri Lanka. Everything was great- big comfy bed, modern bathroom, excellent breakfast, Sita’s wonderful hospitality. Her son drove me in his tuktuk to the train station on departure, helped me buy a ticket and even took me to the train itself to make sure I got a seat. I felt safe and well looked after. Thank you Glenn for the travel tips too!

Nothing, we would very much recommend this B&B and would stay again if in Colombo

Lovely warm welcome. Very spacious and comfortable room with A.C., comfy bed, lovely clean shower ensuite. Property is just set off the main road which made it quiet to stay, but a 15min tuk tuk and you can be on the coast or amongst main attractions. The owner also very helpful, and made an excellent recommendation for our final evening meal. We had a early start to airport so a take away breakfast was made for us which was very good.

I was able to finish my trip on a high note! From Sita's welcome to breakfast and the meal ordered in the evening, everything was perfect! The room was great, very comfortable. You feel like home. Sita's cooking is truly incredible. I really enjoyed it! Finally, the guest house is located in a quiet area, yet close to all amenities!

The house is, as stated in the ad, "oasis". A lot of green space around the house with quiet neighborhood. The room we stayed in was very nice. Sita is a wonderful and kind person, and Glenn and Fiona were ready to help with anything all the time. We really enjoyed our stay at 27!

The room was very clean and had comfy beds and access to all amenities. Sita prepared us a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast and was very warm and made us feel comfortable.

Wow! What a beautiful home. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Sita is a gem and makes you feel right at home. She’s an amazing cook and very generous person. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Favourite place I stayed in Sri Lanka.

couldn't get hot water but it was so hot outside that we didn't really need it nor did we mention it to Sita.

SITA, the caretaker, was THE BEST. She is so sweet, makes excellent breakfasts, including a special one for New Years', and seems to genuinely want to make everyone happy. She took care of everything as if we were family members. The owners were living outside the country (they were very responsive via whatsapp) so Sita ran the show and is the face and success of this place. We enjoyed meeting her two children, sweet Sadie the dog, and the yard tortoise!

I had such a comfortable stay at Glenn and Fiona's. Room was spacious and had everything I needed for a work trip. Communication with hosts was easy. Sita was fantastic, she made us amazing Sri Lankan breakfast and coffee every morning which we already miss dearly. I will definitely return the next time I'm back.

Very clean place, comfortable mattress and pillows. I've stayed at a number of places nearby and you can find cheaper comparable accommodation, but you cannot guarantee the care and cleanliness provided here. If you want a hassle free stay with a great touch of care and attention to detail - stay here! Sita was a lovely housekeeper and treats you like family. A number of requests I had were graciously and quickly accommodated by the hosts. Thank you

Everything. Thanks to Glenn we will return with positive memories of our stay in Colombo, even if ongoing developments didn't allow us to actually see the city. This was our last night in Sri Lanka, completing a great two weeks trip through the country. While the economic situation in Sri Lanka is far from great and news are not too positive, we never felt unsave and will return home with many great memories and experiences.

Nice hospitality, very good value for money. It is not near the city center and turistic places, is a 20 minutes ride (mainly because of traffic). But it is pleasant place, well maintained near good restaurants and supermarket. It is the richiest area in Colombo

Nothing I didn't like.

Glynn is the perfect host and nothing is too much trouble. We spent a great evening with him. Due to sad circumstances, I had to cut my trip short and get home asap. Glynn was super supportive in assisting me with organising a flight back. Fantastic host, great place and location, what's not to like?

EVERYTHING. Glen, Fi, Janeke & Seeta are outstanding hosts. I couldn’t be more grateful to them for all the help they have given me. I needed to relax and feel at ease whilst in Colombo staying at 27 really is an Oasis in the City. Food is delicious, property is beautiful & location great too!

Very lovely house run by such a nice family, we really enjoyed our short stay. They provided many tips for restaurants and things to do. Homemade food and breakfast was great!
