Breakafast was ok, on the last day we had eartly checkout, 20 mins prior to check out time and were only served cold pastry. Stairs in the room can be challengng cause of the steps. Were not able to try the restaurant nor the pool due to season. Definitely too pricey.

I really wanted to give this place strong 10, but unfortunately, I can't, for two reasons. First, the spa treatment—specifically the massage—was disappointing. There was a lack of communication and skill (JUST SPA to be clear). It’s such a shame because the place itself is stunning. Still, it wasn’t a major issue. However, what we didn't like was the extremely loud noise coming from a downpipe located right behind our bed headboard. Around 5 a.m., we heard 6-8 flushes, sounding like we were lying under a waterfall. I'm not exaggerating—it was incredibly loud. It’s definitely a design flaw (room 9, by the way). We only stayed for one night, but if we had stayed longer, I would’ve definitely asked to switch rooms. Our second room was not only beautiful but also so quiet, so I take it as bad luck... Nerveless, overall we really enjoyed our short stay and thank you to everyone who made our stay memorable!

Let’s be honest—the rooms and property are stunning! But what impressed me most was the personal welcome and farewell from the manager. The staff was exceptional—kind and attentive, from reception and helping with our bags to breakfast and poolside service. Their hospitality made us feel incredibly welcome. We particularly loved the rooftop pool, which we almost had to ourselves. The mountain views, comfortable furniture, and great music made it even more special. (Just a heads-up, no cocktails, only mocktails!)

Nothing really. The bed was a little hard. I didn't mind that but my wife mentioned it. Also the wifi in our room was patchy but fine in the courtyard. To be honest, switch off and relax.

We loved every aspect of this amazing Riad. Nestled down a quiet alley away from the craziness of the Medina is this oasis of calm. From the moment you step in, the lovely welcoming staff, refreshing mint tea and biscuits and stunning courtyard, the Riad is simply superb. The staff are professional, attentive and always smiling! Breakfast was amazing with eggs, pancakes, a lovely selection of pastries and bread that changed every day. The roof terrace and connect restaurant are perfect if you just want a day to chill by the pool. Cannot recommend Riad 72 enough

The staff are great, they really look after you and polite etc and talk to you on a personal level. The riad is close to the old city, it’s very safe and the staff can help arrange things if needed. Offers all the traditional morrocan things with a modern twist. Really lovely place

The only change I would make is the shower head in the bath tub was too close to the edge so it was difficult to shower properly.

The service was incredible and everyone was so nice to us! The room was amazing and especially be bathroom - it felt so luxurious. The entire property was beautiful and the pools were a great touch. Highly recommend everyone to stay here!

We had room 15, the suite with the private terrace and jacuzzi. We had breakfast on our private terrace every morning and it was magical. The staff were fantastic and so attentive. The room was incredible and we had a daily maid and turndown service which was such a treat. The hotel was fantastic value for money and the spa was also beautiful. They organised a morning tour for us in the Souk and a full day in the mountains on the Imlil valley tour which was one of the best tours I have been on. Can't wait to visit again and no question of where I would stay.

That we had to leave!

The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Really welcoming. The room is up there with the best we've ever stayed in. Attention to detail was outstanding. Every inch was just stunning to look at. Location is perfect to get around whilst being quiet and relaxing wherever you are in the building. Locals all very friendly and felt like a safe area. All the food and cocktails were up there with the best we'd had in town. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough. We stayed in the Grand Suite.

Nothing - it was perfect!

Everything was perfect! We booked pick up from the airport through Stefania and it was very easy to find our driver who was absolutely lovely. The staff brought our bags from the drop off straight to the riad. We arrived quite early so had to wait a bit for our room which was no trouble at all as the staff came and washed our hands and made us the most delicious mint tea. Stefania sat down with us and explained everything about the riad and gave us some great recommendations for food and activities. We then explored the riad which was just so beautiful and picturesque. We had lunch next to the upstairs pool, the staff were so lovely and the food was delicious! We then settled into our room, it was very spacious and clean. The decor was beautiful. Everyday our room was stocked with fresh fruit and bottled water and at night we always came back to our bed made up and some treats! They even provide you with a phone that has telephone numbers for the staff saved in case you need any help while you are out or while in your room. We had the breakfast both morning which was so delicious, every course kept getting better and the service was perfect. We truly could have spent the whole trip at the riad and not even ventured out! Thank you everyone for the wonderful stay, we cannot wait to come back!

The vibe was wonderful, furnishings and service was impeccable, very stylish and picture perfect, the rooftop was gorgeous! The staff was remarkably accommodating and available at all hours. Loved the on site spa, and the food at the restaurant was delicious! Splendid place to stay.

Great location. Nice mix of traditional Riad feel with modern flair. Hammam spa is a real added bonus too. So welcoming, knowledgeable and nothing too much bother. Fabulous cocktails, and impeccable service. Thank you Stefania and team for a truly magical and memorable stay. A real home from home. We will be back!

One thing to note, for those who are choosing this Riad for the pool/s, the ground floor pool is more decorative than functioning, so you can’t swim in it and the rooftop ‘plunge’ pool is really shallow. It’s not deep enough to swim in.

My fiancé and I had a lovely stay at 72 Riad to celebrate my 40th birthday. The facilities are really beautiful and the staff are so attentive and polite. Especially Stefania, Mohammed and Khalid. Location is great as it’s really close to the Medina, attractions plus the main taxi point. As soon as you walk in to the Riad it’s like a quiet oasis
