The location is close to Thamel but to far for to walk.

All staff are very nice and helpful. Lovely pool and garden. Every day wedding ceremony. It's a predistinated location for that. They have so many different room types, you should check it before you take one. I payed a little bit more than I booked and got a small suite on the ground floor, was very nice

Booking process over the internet was a little more difficult than expected.

Personnel was cordial, warm and diligent. The dishes/meals were varied, fresh, tasty and well prepared. Facilities were clean and ordered.

We had problems unlocking our door using the keycard during the first night, but this was resolved by the second day of our stay. Good response time by the staff.

Our room and some public areas were very hot (the heating was set high) but everything else was excellent.

A lovely hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Gorgeous pool and the restaurant area is good. The room we had was a little less luxurious than the lobby but to be expected in an old building. The room was still very comfy and clean with a lovely hot shower. Location was good - a short drive or a 20 minute walk (on a very busy but generally safe road) from Thamel for restaurants and shopping.

Wifi room didn't work for the whole holiday because my room (at the lower floor) was too far from the main router as receptionist said. So I spent a lot of time in the common areas to use it, this was a bad disadvantage supposing this was a 4 stars hotel.

Staff was always frendly and helpful, they helped me finding a taxi driver to explore the city. They also let me to have an early check in at 9.00 am

It is a over 100 years property… if you are used to more modern constructions you may feel the window a bit narrow, the gym could be bigger… however the room was newly renovated, the staff is nice and I realized I was getting all I was paying for

it used to a palace full of history about Kathmandu and Nepal. The staff is extremely polite! The breakfast is good, you find varieties and timing is very flexible.

Rather small room with a small window. Staff showed not a warm or welcoming attitude. 12' from Thamel by feet, but you have to cross several streets with heavy traffic.

Would be great if rooms could have a small sink-bench with plates, cups, glasses, bowls, microwave, and cutleries.

Everything was fine.

A lovely well run hotel set in it's own gardens. Staff very accommodating and a good breakfast. I have stayed here twice and this time I had one of the refurbished rooms which was very pleasant (the bathrooms have been fully modernised). It's easily within walking distance into the city centre and there are several perfectly good local restaurants literally minutes outside the front gate. I had an early checkout (0430) and was offered a breakfast box without needing to request it, thanks guys :-)

The Property is Aged and needs a Major Overhaul if they want to survive the upcoming competition from the new Property which are coming up in the vicinity.

The Ambience is good and has excellent Property Ground which makes it a pleasant stay for Work and / or Holiday.
