The location is absolutely stunning Nestled in the forest, like a treehouse. The peace and quietness is beautiful The bathroom floors and towel rack is heated.

Nice spot nestled in the bush, friendly staff, heated pool. We had some drinks at the bar but didn't try the restaurant.

Fan in room too low from ceiling - my wife hit her hand on it accidentally. Swimming pool and spa area needs updating. Only one shower and in odd place.

Lodges cosy and short walk to beach. Very helpful staff. Free bikes for cycle around town and boardwalk cycle trail.

We didn't opt for breakfast as it was pricey.

The staff were all really friendly. The setting in the native bush was tranquil. We used the tennis court, pool and spa pool and if we'd had more time we would have used the bikes too.

Breakfast buffet was not good. No healthy choices like yogurt, fresh nuts, a variety of cut up fresh fruit, fresh bread not from package. Needs fresh nut butters that contain no sugar. Needs eggs made to order as an option other than the standard buffet scrambled egg. Bacon is not cooked. Pastries are cold and store bought. Dinners were good except the vegetables including the roasted potatoes were cold every night. I sent them back one night to be warmed and they came back cold. The lamb, sirloin and chicken were good.

Loved the lush surroundings in the bush.

The shower water pressure was weak, and the shower curtain had seen better days. Parking is available on site, but down a steep hill. Resort would transport you to/from your room by golf cart upon request.

Small private chalet in the rainforest. Heated bathroom floors were a nice touch.

Due to the site been in the bush the pathways are littered with fallen vegetation which needs to be cleared, understanding this is a task but in the wet this could pose a problem

The surroundings this hotel is situated in is unique, out of the way from noise pollution and listening to the birdsong was amazing, you really are in the trees

The room had a lot of bugs which is kind of the nature of being in bushes. The gym could use an upgrade and also has a lot of bugs. None of that are deal breakers, but the stay would be perfect otherwise.

The staff weren’t very attentive in the restaurant, tables weren’t cleared, drinks weren’t offered. Decks need a stain in the units.

Beautiful in the modernised areas. Charm in the non modernised areas. Love the dark wood. Very clean.

Our room had sheets and mattress protector rolled up on the end of the bed. I think they were dirty and forgotten to take it away. Also on Sunday morning we ordered proper coffee but told the coffee machine was broken.

It was peaceful, quiet and good for relaxing.
