For older people could be difficult, because they do not have a lift, only 2 rooms on the ground floor.

Close to the centre, small street without traffic, quiet place. The staff is excellent, they pay for a taxi to the airport. You can also ask for late check-out without any extra payment.

The location is very close to the main town square. It was easy to get Claro sim card, or walk to Inca Rail stop. The staffs are very nice too. Breakfast is OK.

The team of Picol Hostal takes care of you better than your family would! The place is very clean, the bed is comfy, breakfast is good and the guys help with all types of requests – from 4am breakfast to go to keeping your travel gear and giving it back to the agency. Great level of service!

They keep the front door locked and you have to ring a bell to call them to open it for you. Sometimes this can be annoying but most of the time makes us feel safe.

We stayed in private rooms. They were cleaned every day. The shower was amazing! Hot water and high pressure. The location was great. The staff were very nice and welcoming.

Overall, the hotel and also the furnishings are relatively old, so some things were already quite worn. The shower was also lukewarm at most.

nice hotel with very accommodating, helpful and friendly staff. The breakfast was very tasty and sufficient. The room was also clean and relatively quiet. The wifi worked reliably and there was even a fan heater.

The water was not very hot at 5am but the rest of the time it was fine.

The staff were so helpful, especially Juvental who sorted out a problem at 5 am when our tour bus never turned up to pick us up. He went way over and above. Great central location. Hot showers and great breakfast. We even had little heater in case it was chilly. We actually stayed here twice. Would thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic location, a few minutes away on foot from the main square. The staff were very polite and helpful - answered my questions, helped to get a heater for the room, kept my bag whilst I was away on the trek. The room itself is spacious, clean and comfortable - plenty of blankets to keep oneself warm at night, shower is nice and warm too. The breakfast was also good - eggs, fruit, cereal, toast/bread, ham, jam, juice and coffee/tea.

Having a bowl and bigger spoons for breakfast cereal would've been useful.

The attention to detail was excellent. Little touches like already having my left-luggage in my room when I returned from trekking, giving packed breakfasts, complimentary airport shuttle, flexible checkout felt very caring. The heaters and cosy rooms made being at altitude, in winter very comfortable. Really nice, friendly and amenable staff. I'll be back!

Great hostal in a perfect location right in the centre, but in a side street so little noise from the street. Staff was very friendly and helpful, we could store our bags during treks and they cleaned our room every day. They helped with questions about the city and ordering taxi's. The breakfast is simple but plentiful. Excellent stay for when you are exploring Cuzco and trekking around. Would highly recommend.

We waited for the pick up service at the airport and did not find anybody from the hotel. We ended up paying a very expensive taxi and when we arrived at the hotel, there was someone waiting for us but outside the airport, it was a communication problem.

The staff is very friendly and helpful! They packed our breakfast when we had to leave early for boating the mountains. The location is great, we could easily walk to plaza des armas and good restaurants! The staff also let us leave your bags for a night that we spent at Machu Picchu, when we came back the bags were already in our room.

All the staff members are very kind. They gave me a lot of information. It's located very close to the Plaza de Armas, so it's very convenient. The receptionist arranged a taxi when I leave for the airport.

As the accomodation is quite central there are some bars and clubs around it which is a little noisy in the night. And there was some humming spund during day and night (maybe by a boiler which was a little annoying). Also there could have been more coffee for breakfast.

Nive room an comfortable bed. Very good wifi and sockets near the bed! The location was good - quite near to the city center. There was a 24/7 hot water dispenser for tea. There was a hairdryer and the shower had very hot water. The breakfast times were very flexible, one could use the microwave and the breakfast included a fruit, olives, butter, bread, marmelade, cheese, ham, cornflakes and amaranth.

On our first night we didn’t sleep at all as we could hear the club next door all night and then had to leave for a tour at 4am. However, we asked to move rooms which was sorted and our new room had no issues.

The property was really comfy with good breakfast and a great central location. The staff were always on hand to help, and the airport transfer was free and really convenient.

WiFi is a bit slow but acceptable. The receptionist sometimes fell asleep and forgot to open the gate for me, so one night I had to wait outside for a few minutes. I guess sometimes he is just too tired of his work. Also one night he started to knock my door at 4am and remained me to join my early tour, (what a kind man!), But he made a mistake because he messed up with the name and he was supposed to wake up some other guests but instead, he woke me up at 4am, which was very annoying. I hope he would get more rest and easy, so his night shift would have been more effective and efficient.

Really central but also very quiet at night. Comfort beds and nice 24/7 security guys at the gate who are more than happy to help. Breakfast is included and the WiFi and shower are quite good and strong. They clean the room daily and offer clean towels and bedsheets. They also allow you to leave the luggage nearby. Payment by card is also accepted here with no extra charge. Right next door there is a cheap and fast laundry service that closes at 8pm. Very comfortable and convenient and quiet to sleep. If I have an early tour, they always prepare breakfast earlier so I can take it away. Very considerate. Thanks

the room is a little dusty. water easily seep out of the showering area making the floor wet and it ain’t easy to dry, so there’s the toilet humid smell. having an exhaust fan will be good
