The heater in the second floor rooms didn’t work well. Also a bit of hassle that I needed to ring the bell to get in and get out

I think it would be helpful to know that the street is primarily a pedestrian one off the corner of a small Plaza. Our taxi from Ollantaytambo had some difficulty finding it.

The staff was very helpful, carrying luggage up to our room and calling a taxi for our trip to the airport and telling us the usual price. There's always tea and hot water available in the entrance to the rooms. I was traveling with my sister, and our room was both dark at night and quiet. The ensuite bathroom had an excellent shower with both hand towels for each of us (rare in our travels) and pretty absorbant bath towels. We would definitely stay here again.

Our room did not have a window. But it did not bother us much, as we were there only at nights.

There is a musty smell in the room, but I wouldn’t not stay here because of that. If I came back to Cusco, I would absolutely look this place up again.

It was in an awesome location, kind of the heart of the area so that I could return to drop off some things that I had bought in the afternoon before continuing on. I had old world charm, and a great breakfast.

Breakfast is basic but sufficient

Great location in historic building, truly a unique stay! Felt like we were transported back to colonial times (with all modern amenities). Cool courtyard to hang out in. Staff was particularly friendly and helpful. Overall, fantastic value and would stay again!

I do not think we were provided with correct room type. We paid for superior double but got a room with 3 beds that looked nothing like the superior rooms. When ia asked about it they said it is indeed superior but then it doesn't look like the pictures posted at all.... It is a shame as I do think the property is alright but I feel we paid more and got less so be careful with this.

The property is located in a very good area, close to the city centre and the staff is very friendly.

Lovely old building in very good condition, and I had a room with a balcony to the lane. The whole hotel was very very clean, served a simple and good breakfast, and everyone working there was friendly and helpful. Great location, really close to everything but quiet and safe. Can’t think of anything I’d change. I completely recommend this hotel!

I actually stayed here twice. The second time around I chose one of the larger rooms and extended my stay by a further night, as I so much enjoyed the room, authentic hotel atmosphere and location. The staff were friendly, helpful and quick to help with any requests. I loved the charm of the boutique hotel and the wonderful location, which allowed me to reach cafes, restaurants, shops etc with just a short, entertaining walk. The location was surprisingly quiet considering the central location. I would definitely stay here again if travelling to Cusco.

Curtains could have been thicker, there was a light outside the window that disrupted our sleep.

Lovely old stone building, good basic breakfast, great hot shower and nice staff. Location was pretty central, only 5 minutes walk to Plaza de Armas. Very quiet at night. Cusco is a lovely city!
