Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe road to the property wasn't great - you'd think they would have a better road leading up to such a nice hotel. If you're on a scooter you need to be careful. There were only 5 rooms taken when we were there and loads of staff but sometimes it took quite a while for them to bring you drinks and food. Our toilet leaked at one point but was fixed very quickly. Just be aware that this property can be very quiet, if you're looking for a more lively atmosphere then you might want to look elsewhere. However, it felt like our own private resort which we quite enjoyed.
The view at the hotel was amazing. We had a seaview upstairs room and the view across the pool and out to sea was beautiful. The pool and jacuzzi was very nice and a great temperature. The room was spacious, clean and the air con was very cold. The shower was strong with good temperature and the bathroom essentials were also good. Fresh bedding and plenty of towels were available and room keeping was good. The fridge was good. We were able to snorkel using equipment provided and saw lots of fish just off the private beach which was also nice.

United KingdomSome serious rethinking needs to be done about the food and restaurant. The main menu is almost exclusively Filipino cuisine and whilst it is cooked well is not to everyone's taste. There is a very limited choice of international food (think pizzas, burgers, spaghetti bolognese!) which is not cooked well; e.g. uncooked dough in pizzas; bland and unseasoned sauces. Apart from the delicious fresh fruit, breakfasts were a big disappointment...cheap frozen sweet Filipino hotdogs/ham the only traditional breakfast meat option available for four day stay. Cheap sliced bread; powdered 'fruit' juices and the policy of serving breakfast as a 'buffet', so most of the food had been sitting around for a few hours, meant the 'breakfast experience' was an exercise in refuelling rather than enjoyable! The uncomfortable wooden chairs in the restaurant don't help either. Found another resort a few kms away, after the first night, for our evening meals.
Large, attractive, very clean modern bedroom and bathroom with good facilities and sea view. The small balcony was nice and also useful for drying swimwear and towels. The infinity pool and jacuzzi overlooking the ocean were fantastic. The gardens are attractive and well maintained. Very relaxing atmosphere.

RussiaThe only difficulty is to get rich there from Tagbilaran pier in the evening. If you come after 9 p.m it would be not so easy to get the car there. Or you should just book the shuttle before.
This pretty nice and very quiet place. Rooms are in good conditions. The hotel has its own small beach and several pools, so you may stay there and enjoy Bohol. But it is much better to take a scooter and discover some nearby locations. The stuff helped to rent a scooter and it was delivered right to the hotel.

AustraliaThe restaurant lacked atmosphere (there was no music playing) and they were unable to cook many items from the menu. The breakfast was also always cold and the juices were not fresh. There were also limited wine and vegetarian options.
Beautiful clean rooms and the private beach was amazing. We really enjoyed snorkeling straight In front of Parklane. The staff were very friendly and always smiling.

PhilippinesAt first we didn’t get the rooms with ocean view we had paid for. We got new rooms with ocean view but no hot water. One room had plumbing problems, so we were later moved to 1st floor where we were very close to the pool and had people walking onto our terrace. Food is cheap but seriously needs improvement. We had our lunches and dinners at other resorts. We asked the hotel several times to provide transportation. Unfortunately when we checked out they said the prices we had paid for the first two trips which we paid in cash had been discounted and wanted twice the price for all the following transports. Staff did their best but the manager was totally absent.
Friendly staff. Good ocean view from the rooms on 1st floor. Nice small beach with snorkeling just outside.
