Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwitzerlandThere was no window, but that wasn't a big issue for us. As Europeans, we are used to flushing toilet paper instead of putting it in the bin next to the toilet. This felt a bit unusual and somewhat uncomfortable for us, but otherwise everything was fine.
The location of the hotel was excellent. It was very convenient that we could store our luggage both before check-in and after check-out. The staff was also extremely kind and welcoming. We felt very comfortable during our stay.

PanamaAlthough there is no lift, the staff always offers to help carrying the luggage.
The breakfast was our favourite part! You can choose from a set menu the day before but you can also eat from the mini buffet; which has fruit, pastries and Thai desserts. The set-menu breakfast were also super fresh and tasty.

Just returned from a one night stay at The Blanket Hotel. I surprised my husband with a little staycation in Old Town. We enjoy the Sunday market and I thought it would be great to stay overnight and fully explore the area. Hotel looks exactly like the pictures. We had a room with no window however, it made for great sleeping. Very cozy! The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot and the breakfast was delicious. As a hospitality enthusiast, I must say well done to The Blanket Hotel! I look forward to returning and to recommending to my friends.

SpainMy only complain has to do with the rain sound amplified, all night long, by sheet metal roofs next to the hotel window. Better windows would help. Personnel at the reception do their best, unfortunately their English level is not sufficient for good communication.
Location is great, walking distance to old town, easy to get to the airport. Clean and comfortable room perfect for our short staying. Friendly and helpful reception staff.

United KingdomWe couldn’t really fault it for the price. Everything we expected was listed online prior to booking so we were not let down.
A gorgeous, sinoportugese inspired building with gorgeous heritage and history. Beautiful restaurants and cafe’s right next door and very clean and not musty smelling for a hotel room with no windows

ItalyI didn’t like the fact that our room didn’t have any windows.
I loved the location as it was a 5 minute walk to the centre. I also found that the staff were really friendly and helpful and like our welcome brunch.

United StatesThe only complaint would be the lack of elevator. No trouble for us, but I could see how this would be a bigger problem for tired travelers with big luggage.
We really loved the cute decor and the staff was very kind. We had to leave early (7:30am right when breakfast was being served), so the staff made us a small breakfast to go. This was extremely special for us.

United KingdomOverall we had a good time but didn't feel that the staff were particularly friendly - some of them were, but others wouldn't even acknowledge us when we came in, which was not in line with out experiences elsewhere.
We got an early check-in, the room was clean and functional, and the hotel is within walking distance to the main hub of the Old Town. There's also an excellent dessert restaurant around the corner!

United KingdomThere wasn't a great smell in the room. The window opened onto the dirtiest, grubbiest, smelliest alley, with a wall nomore than 6ft away. Smells from kitchen were sickening. Made room very dark and felt hemmed in.
Room size was good and comfy beds with clean linen. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Pack-up breakfast supplied for our early start..

SingaporeThe bathroom shower area. Water flows very slowly down the drain. Almost feel like it’s choked up. Lobby area could be cooler.
The location is right in the middle of Phuket Town! Short distance to so many cafes and the Sunday night market. Really comfortable staying there. 3 in 1 shower gel smells sooo good!

United KingdomI liked this hotel! The only thing that bugged me was that the walls were so thin I could hear everything and I don't know wether every single other guest were being loud but I assume it was more to do with the walls being paper thin! Also my had a window which was blacked out which was fine for me since I never spent any great time in the room but I feel if you are there for any length of time and maybe want a chill out day, that would maybe get to you! Apart from that I had a great stay and the staff couldn't have more helpful. I'd definitely return but just bring some earplugs! Also I don't know if it states anywhere but there isn't any lifts, this didn't bother me but if you've got kids or are unable to do stairs then this would be an issue.

AustraliaOn the negative. , Level 1 rooms have a low ceiling. About 2.1m There are no lifts so you will have to carry your luguage up stairs. On the positive. It was a clean and convenient location to stay. The hotel is tucked away from the busy road meaning pick up and drop off's are less dangerous and chaotic. Staff were hospitable to everyone, guest or just visitors of the hotel. I would book this again
