Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWiFi available but mainly in the hotel upto I suspect the 2nd floor and pool area. Dining area hit and miss. Dining area was generally clean and tidy although a dead cockroach was left for the ants to deal with as you walked past between the serving area and sitting area. First impressions were negative but the place does grow on you and the staff do try. The food was predominantly for Eastern Europeans. Hence breakfast for me was generally omelettes and coffee. Evening fare heavily salad, couscous, yoghurty offerings. One pork dish in 12 days was very nice and the occasional chicken offering. Have to say though salad bar was vast and I often wondered what happened to it after service . Tea and coffee facilities would be great in the bedroom along with a proper sofa bed and a Smart TV. We don't all speak Turkish, Russian or German! Some issues. Staff walking around smoking while serving. First 2 nights issues with the drinks bill and prices. Both resolved but check and stand your ground (This issue was not just an hotel issue). Would we stay here again? Day 1 NO. Day 12 YES.
The staff including the gentleman on the front desk were extremely helpful and any issues dealt with quickly. Great base for exploring the local town and surrounding areas. WiFi available but please read the didn't like. Pool and pool area was very good. The dining area was generally clean and tidy. Omelettes delicious. Soup was always delicious. Bread was amazing. Oh. Big bonus. A working lift.

AustraliaThe beds were too hard, some of the food and most of the meats were not good quality. Maintenance leaves something to be desired. We would have stayed longer if not for the beds.
The location. The staff and the view. On the beach, sitting on a beach lounger with your feet overhanging the water. The breakfast omelettes, the Turkish coffee and some of the breakfast and dinner dishes.

United KingdomThe only downfalls I woukd say was the cleaning around the pool area and the toilets next to the pool was not great overall cleaning was not good and the breakfast there was not much variety but the man did make us fresh omelettes every morning as we didnt like anything else if the cleaning was ontop of and the rooms had a bit of a revamp it would be amazing place ...as a head housekeeper for a hotel myself this is the only things I noticed wrong
The bar staff were amazing with the kids they called him the ice cream man ..the location was amazing and the staff let us stay a extra 2 days ontop of booking because of problems with our flights so we was extremely grateful the kids had the best time .

United KingdomI had to deep clean my room before unpacking as the level of basic daily housekeeping is not very thorough. I also had to maintain the basic cleaning of facilities throughout my stay. This is personal to me and may be ok for other guests.
Great location for me. Food very tasty although repetitive. Staff always friendly. Layout of pool bar and restaurant and access to the beach convenient. Fridge in room. Daily housekeeping

That I told the manager at check-out that I will not pay the powder poor extra 4coffees for 480TL from the machine after the service was not provided to us first three days(because😃,as we were told, they are just starting the season),according to the fotos and written duties they provide in the hotel, on booking, com.I was happy that I had a speech with manager about the problems on the third day, there was no çay in the restaurant in one week,no tissues after being complaning again and again,no variety of food,no drinks for the dinner(even the cup of water),no working water and light in the hotel restaurant toilet, etc.I'm not a princess but in a 3 stars hotel it should obvious,I cannot come in the high season, sorry guys.Probably the owner wants to make some money saving food and electricity, boiled water for the tea ,it is not the manager's fault at all, believe me,he was so comprehensible, helpfull and kind,as the rest of the personel also,waiters,recepcionists,etc.. Thank you very much, never ever again.I understand you, but please, understand me too.

AzerbaijanNo drink includes dinner for half-board booking. Even still water is served for extra payment. No guest amenities (tea, sugar, shampoos etc.) in the room. No kettle in the room which is hard to stay without for families with children. Toilet seat is broken. Overall Marmaris is very noisy in nights.
Fantastic location, next to the beach. Easy to reach to city center with minibuses. You can find small markets, chemistry close to the hotel. Delicious food (not with much variaty but fair enough). Restaurant staff is kind and supportive. Room is small and outdated, but cleanliness is in place.

RomaniaThe plastic toilet seat from the bathroom so old that was yellow. Old furniture and defective door at the shower. The restaurant had a nice view but not any air vent. Dinner has no drinks. Not even water or cheap juice. Keep in mind that you have to buy from the hotel bar.
I liked the location, the pool is not crowded. All rooms seamed to have sea view. The older receptionist knew english and was kind. The young guy from the bar was very helpful. Most of them did not knew english but they managed to use google translate.

United KingdomWe stayed for two weeks, from UK, first time in Marmaris. We spoke with the staff several times. All are very helpful and you can tell they put their guests and reputation first. This hotel is a family run hotel for many years. The staff are all long term and work closely with the family management so it feels very trustworthy and safe. This is a quiet hotel with mostly families and in a great position, well placed away from the noisy hotels and bars, closer to the upmarket end of Marmaris. We had a great view of the sea and the beach area that belongs to the hotel is very relaxed with a good swimming area. The rooms are clean, classic, vintage Turkish style. Not ultra modern, but clean, practical and everything works as it should. The room was spacious too and air conditioned with great balcony. Where the hotel excels is the food, which was included in the price. At this price point the quality of food couldn’t be better. Mainly chicken and vegetarian dishes. Always fresh and well cooked. The hotel is taking food standards seriously and providing fantastic variety of buffet in this range with creative flavours.

United KingdomWe got this hotel at a good price and thought how bad could it be? It was bad! We were bed, breakfast and evening meal. I am not a fussy eater but the food was very poor with no choices. For instance what was available one night was meatballs, cauliflower and Couscous - And what was available was tasteless. We ended up with a mediocre salad every night!! No drinks at all with dinner. Not even water. We ended up eating out A LOT! The rooms were dated but we knew that on booking but they weren’t very clean and there were safety hazards like mats that rolled up at the edge because they were too big for the area or broken chairs on the balcony. We had 5 rooms and the holder for the shower head was broken in every room. No warm water on the last day. A couple of the rooms had electric problems in that either it kept tripping or wouldn’t work at all. Towels and sheets only changed 3 times in the week. There is a fridge in the room but no kettle, cups, glasses etc so I’m not sure what the fridge was for other than to keep your suncream cool! John who worked in the bar every day was very friendly and helpful. The rest of the staff weren’t friendly at all! Pool area a bit run down and very quiet. so we went to the beach every day. A lot of cats about the hotel which wasn’t to our liking. Air conditioning worked in the room but it wasn’t great.
The location was good in that the Beach was right out the front and the views from the balcony were beautiful. As it’s at the end of the beachfront it is very quiet if that’s what you are looking for - about 40 minutes walk to the busy area, another 40 mins walk to the marina, though the small buses stop right outside the door cost only 30tl - great value!
