Bed was very hard. Some issues with a strong seafood allergy - limited range of foods available with some uncertainty about which contained fish sauce, oyster sauce etc. Not confident with cross contamination of utensils from a dish with seafood elements to those without.

I found the staff a lil unfriendly and lil inflexible.

Great value stay. Stayed in a room with three single beds. Hotel has plenty of little touches that makes the stay pleasant. A great breakfast. Free afternoon tea (once during the stay). Unlimited candies. About 5 min walk to a huge 24H supermarket. About 10 min walk to two metro stops.

The inflexibility of the staff/hotel checking out. One example: we had two separate reservations for the same person, in different days. The hotel was not flexible to allow the customer to stay in the same room and the customer had to check out. Secondly, the service personnel who brought supplies (I did not use room services for the day) stared at me after I thanked him as if I was a nuance.

Room was much nicer than the lobby suggests - the lobby looked cheaper than a 5-star hotel.

Excellent, room is very clean and new. Everything is great, the front desk, daily cleaning, room service, etc. We booked the quadruple room, and two big bed is so great for kids. If visiting Taipei next time, will come back again. Thank you!

Great international hotel. Spacious and comfortable rooms. The bathroom has a shower and a small Japanese-style bathtub. Good location for buses and metro. Very well-stocked buffet breakfast.

The location of this hotel is close to ximending, there are lots shop around the hotel. Room is very big and clean and has view. All the staff is really nice. The onsite restaurant has lots of choices for hot day not want to go out looking for food.

Didn't have washing machine in the hotel if have the best. Need 15 min walk away to have the coin washing area which the staff told us.

Just some minor things that stood out. The sound of the box (AI) when playing music was not that good. It would be nice to have some allergen cards at the breakfast buffet. We were surprised to see seperate plastic bottles of shampoo, lotion, etc in the bathroom. Big refillable bottles would have been just fine.

Good location, close to Ximending. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. We received a bag to get free candy next door, as well as a coupon to get free "happy hour", which had some finger foods and (alcoholic) drinks. The room (and bed) was big enough, very clean. There is an AI system, that has some nice tricks, but it does not hold that much added value. Gym was well equipped and clean. Breakfast buffet was very big and nice. It had a lot of vegan options. Good value!

My only concern was the breakfast, which offered limited options to western visitors. The bread was terrible and not fresh.

Very convenient location near the MRT and good value for money. The room was spacious, it had a big double bed and a big single bed and everything was clean and spotless.

The overall building was dated though clean. The walk to Ximending is a little far if you are travelling with seniors. It would be more beneficial if the shuttle service provided to guests was hourly instead.

Good access to large supermarket and convenient food options nearby. Local tidbits provided for guests to try out was a good touch.

The translucent glass wall on the bathroom was a bad design, no privacy at all. And the mirror facing the glass wall, looking into the bathroom.

Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Room is big, smells nice and there’s housekeeping everyday. Breakfast buffet spread was amazing. You get free snacks and welcome drinks daily. Location is good.

The lobby is tiny and not feel like 5 stars hotel. Very limited seats. Taxi stand is small and many vans park there. Echo from most of the comments. The curtain has no half opened options..

Great hotel for the geek with smart control. Have Japanese style bathub and excellent location - 25 mins walk to CKS, 7 mins walk to Metro, 20 mins walk to Ximending night market. Very good English and helpful receptionist.
