Clarity that AC is extra ; No hot water AC is inexpensive to add on in the scheme of it. So it’s not such a hurdle- only when coming in late and wanting to go straight to sleep. It’s hot enough climate to get away with the tepid water. Just shower before sunset. The beach is a close walk with access through the property in front.

Helpful , friendly and attentive staff. Made us breakfast earlier than their serving time as we we’re leaving on a tour. That they found out last minute in the morning as we got in late from the airport (after 2200) but still accommodated us: even though we just asked to grab a coffee before we depart.

My niece and I stayed at the Zanzibar Dream Lodge for about 9 days. The staff were professional , accommodating and very kind. Our gratitude to Kassim for making our stay in Zanzibar memorable , for his help with booking taxis from and to the airport , with my phone ( as I had few issues with it ) etc. The breakfast was ok. Dinner was great ! Plenty of options for vegans , vegetarians , pescatarians etc. The room where we stayed was spacious , clean and had a very comfortable bed. I would definitely return to the Zanzibar Dream Lodge again.

Sometimes the electric has cut off for a short time, but that’s not just the property, this happens everywhere on the island.

It’s such a cute property and it’s very close to the beach. Definitely a great and affordable place to stay!

Excellent hotel with excellent location located in calm and safe location,extremely clean & comfortable . Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff ,he made my trip more interesting with his advices & tips about the city ,supermarket ,shops,restaurants bars are within walking distance. Would definetely recommend this hotel to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Thank you again for all stafffor going just that little step extra for the guests!!!

Zanzibar dream lodge is one of the little hidden gem paraparadise in Zanzibar. They have great professionalism on how they will keep time and manage your stay from the moment you make a reservation. We had a hotel shuttle and the driver was punctual . The food with was amazing.People in the hotel are so kind and lovely staffs. Not talking about the cleanliness. I would recommend the hotel with a 10/10 to any person traveling for work because it’s cool.Vacation or even solo trip. More so the location is really nice .one to two minutes walk to the beach . I and my bf were extremely happy with Zanzibar dream lodge. I will definitely come back.

As the name implies "dream" place. More than a hotel! felt like visiting family. Not our first time to stay at Zanzibar Dream Lodge, and definitely not the last! Kassim and staff always had time for a good chat and were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Helping with all needs and trips to the must see/do places and the hidden gems in Zanzibar. Our room was nice and clean, and enjoyed a break in a cool room after long, warm day. And also liked the beautiful outside areas. Zanzibar Dream Lodge is a very nice, chill, quiet and relaxing place. Attended a swahili food course. Fun, cosy and gave a further understanding of the Zanzibari-culture. Otherwise enjoyed amazing food from their restaurant.

We like pretty much everything about this place.

It was not our first time at Zanzibar Dream Lodge, but first time booked via this website. We love a laid-back atmosphere there, good vibes, very friendly staff. The owner - Kassim is an awesome person, always willing to help and doing his best to fulfill his guests all needs. Zanzibar Dream Lodge restaurant serves a very delicious food, including fresh seafood and flavourful fruits. A nice beach is just few steps away and you can use sunbeds and umbrellas free of charge. If you are looking for a genuine place, where you can charge your batteries with positive energy, it is a perfect place to do so!

Not much I didn’t like…everything was pretty good. The electric went out once for about 2 minutes, but then came right back on. But just heads up, that’s to be expected ANYWHERE you stay on the island, so definitely nothing against the property.

Besides that it is EXTREMELY affordable!! This is a great property with a good location, and it’s right there close to the beach. It’s somewhat close to everything so you can pretty much walk, or you can get a Boda boda or taxi if you prefer that to get around. I usually walked the beach route and everything is pretty close. I was traveling alone, so I appreciated that it’s a closed property, and felt very safe staying there. Staff was very friendly and always willing to help out.

I liked the quiet area, away from busy streets and beaches. A lovely sandy garden with chill music, greenery and flowers around. If you want to get rested and feel rejuvenated after staying among palm trees, the ocean, the sand, flowers and good food, this is the right place. I keep coming back to this place. This was my place when I first came to Zanzibar two years ago, and now is my choice whenever I go to the east coast. I just love it.

the location is little bit hard to find but I call the staff they can tell the boda driver clearly.

clean room with good water pressure. good location (2mins to beach), the breakfast is good, worker and chef are so nice, they got fresh fruit for breakfast. The boss is helpful, he suggest and direct me to Jozani and Paje beach.

We had an exceptional stay at Dream Lodge. The Staff is super friendly and helps with everything. Alpha taught us about the dala dala routes and gave great recommendations. He is so welcoming and just a great guy! This is the first accommodation we been to which is way better in reality than on the pictures and it was the best stay in our journey. The room was clean and the bed was really big and super comfy. We had the whole bed covered with a good mosquito net which works wonders. There is a great restaurant in the dream lodge. You get a healthy breakfast with fresh and delicious fruits everyday and changing menu like pancakes or toast and omelette. They also serve a delicious vegetable curry with rice for cheap, give it a try! They have a collaboration with the tiki Beach resort so you can use the private beach with hammocks, sunbeds, beach lounger and their is also a nice bar. Google it and look at some pictures. It is the white beach with palm trees you ever dreamed of! All in all it is very budgetfriendly with exceptional value. I highly recommend everyone to visit the Zanzibar Dream Lodge.
