We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

NetherlandsIn the morning workers where walking by my room windows (2nd floor room 207) because there where works to the room above me. That made terrible annoying noices. The reception did not want to help me with it. Overall I found the price quality poor.

IrelandDuring our stay the pool was not available for the first 3 days and that was very disappointing as I had specifically looked for hotels with pools. The reception staff were very good and helpful except for one individual who was not helpful at all.
The beds were exceptionally comfortable. Loved the rooftop area.

United StatesThe property is a little further from the main downtown area than we'd realized, although the walk is not prohibitively long if you like walking (in what is a generally walkable city).
We were very happy with the clean, spacious, comfortable room, and as our visit coincided with a flood throughout the city, we felt assured that we would be able to access coffee and lunch without needing to somehow "escape". The facilities were excellent, including a well-resourced fitness center and a pleasant lobby area. We would stay here again.

Location was good for us. We chose to be a little bit from the centre and pay for an Uber. This saved us nearly 50% on my ther more central hotel options.

United StatesThe Marriot Charleston was a delightful experience. Even though my stay was only a few days, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Centrally located in Charleston, it offers all the amenities one could desire in a hotel. The bar was top-notch, and the staff were friendly and professional, with excellent English proficiency. I'll definitely choose it again.
