Floor in room didn't feel clean, gritty like sand. Toilet seat was loose.

Friendly staff, clean, comfortable, and quiet room. Useful resources, guides to the area. Grounds were well kept with numerous chairs and tables. The outside pool is clean and maintained. Walkable distance to Waterfront, approx 0.5 miles. Will stay again, this is my second trip. Great value for area.

Only negative was the jacuzzi being out of service.

It's obviously an older hotel/motel and so was a little rundown but not so much that it made a bad impression. It was clean and very comfortable.

The location of The Flagship Inn is perfect. One mile from Boothbay Harbor. We were not looking for a fancy place so this was absolutely fine. It was clean and comfortable. The price, location and comfort were just what we wanted.

Didn't like all the Spiders and Bugs!! I had to stay up all night and make sure that nothing crawled on her while she slept!! Ketchup bottles and juice dispenser was EMPTY first thing in the Breakfast room... Could have been stocked up better (BEFORE letting people in to have breakfast!) Very expensive for not getting any sleep!!

I had to kill 3 spiders and another bug on the wall by the bed and another one in the bathroom... I had to stay up all night and make sure that nothing crawled on her while she slept... So I can't say how comfortable the beds were, but after the initial shock of catching and killing the bugs, she did fall asleep... The food was good, but we were one of the first ones in the Breakfast room and the Ketchup bottles were EMPTY, also the juice dispenser was EMPTY, (Should have been filled the night before!) Otherwise she had a good night stay, but it wasn't worth the price for me because I had to pay her back, because she was the one who had to book it and pay for it because I was out of town...

The only downfall was that the hot tub was not working during my stay.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. There was a nice variety of cold and hot food choices for breakfast. Rooms were comfortable and clean with a good size refrigerator and a microwave. The property was well maintained with a nice grassy seating area to enjoy.

The air conditioner had mold inside of it. I tried 3 days in a row to get my room cleaned and get clean towels. Each night I came back the sign on the door had fallen off. By the third day I happened to run into someone cleaning to let them know and that towels were needed and the floor needed to be swept. It was taken care of after notifying staff. The beds weren't very comfortable. The door not having a second/top lock was unsettling when traveling with small children. My two year old was able to open the locked door from the inside which made it so we had to place chairs in front of the door at night so that he wasnt able to open it.

Free breakfast was nice. Location right near downtown was nice. Pool was great for the kids.

The cleaning lady came in the day after we checked in. We had garbage in one basket. Had a couple of towels we used by the sink. I believe the towels we use were put back with the clean. (They looked used) The beds were not made and we had no personal items on the bed. Made me nervous about housekeeping

The room could have swept during our stay. Also, the window lacked a sheer curtain, so when the room, you either felt like you were in a fishbowl or a cave.

Hot tub wasn’t working which was half the reason we booked the hotel. There wasn’t any information on the website about broken hot tub and after driving 3 hours to get to the hotel we found out it wasn’t working. They don’t allow any refunds of any kind either, so we had to stay. They also promised a continental breakfast which would have been fine except all of the coffee was gone, there were no forks or spoons to eat anything with so we weren’t able to get breakfast either. Otherwise it was fine.

We discovered our toilet was not working in the middle of the night. We had to purchase soda at a store as the soda machine bear our room was unplugged.

I enjoyed my stay for the most part. The toilet in our room was not working properly. The soda machine near our room was not working and was actually unplugged. The staff was very friendly and polite, and the grounds around the inn were lovely, with some outside seating. The free breakfast was delicious. The Inn is pet friendly, which is a big plus.

Was very disappointed that the Hot Tub was down and we were not told about it prior to our stay!!! That was one of the main reasons that I reserved 2 nights at this location. 😀

Close to town without the expensive prices in the main downtown area.
