Thermostat was 86 degrees when we arrived and it took awhile to cool down.

Room size

The kids loved the robot Archie. The room was nice but I thought would be larger for the price.

We stayed in a room on the second floor next to the storage room. There was a loud noise coming from room (sounded like one of the pipes) that kept us most of the night. Told the front desk and they said they would address it, which they did.

The front desk was responsive to our needs.

Sofa in the room was old and beaten down. It was low to the ground and hard to get up from. Also, the mattress/pad on the pull out was worn. Again, hard to get out of when needed. There were extra sheets but no extra pillowcase.

Staff rectified a cleanliness situation in original room. Moved us to another room on another floor. Breakfast service was good. Food was hot, entrees were switched out quickly, and everything was tasty.

Window covering allowed light through which made it difficult to sleep in the morning. On a flight path and planes started early.

I thought the carpets were a bit old all over. But that’s a minor issue in my book. I thought it was a bit pricey considering I paid $160 every night including taxes and fees.

very convenient location right next to Highway 69. The breakfast was real nice. Also liked the fact that they had a heated pool indoors. Unfortunately I was not able to use it. I was also very appreciative of the very nice room that I was assigned. Very spacious and bright

The bed is too hard, had to move the night stand and it was dirty behind the stand and beds had an inch of dirt along the base board.

My daughter found a used Band Aid on the floor in our room. It really bothered her. I also thought the price was a little high, considering we were not that close to campus.

There wasn't anything I really didn't like. It was very serviceable. It isn't a luxury property, but it was well kept and friendly.

Two issues, one of which is likely out of the control of the hotel. I found some of the other guests to be quite rude. I was attempting to use the hot tub on Saturday for a quiet soak. I first went down at 5 pm but found a large number of teenage girls in both the pool and hot tub and they were throwing a ball around the hot tub, so I decided to come back later. (There were tables full of adults, presumable parents, in the pool room while the girls were there.) I returned at about 6:15 to find even more teenage girls there, so I left again. I returned at 8 pm. At this point I found some younger families there. There were a couple of adult females and at least 4-5 toddlers and preschoolers playing in the hot tub. I asked one of the adult females, as nicely and respectfully as possible, how long they expected to stay and she replied that they would be there until 11 pm (closing time.) When I expressed surprise that young children would stay in the hot tub that long and that late, she basically told me it was my own tough luck. At that point, I gave up. I wonder if instituting brief "adult only" time periods in the pool area could be considered. My other issue was how long it took for the rooms to be made up. On our first full day there, we left the room several times and were surprised each time we came back that it was not made up. Finally, around 3 pm when we were in the room, they knocked on the door and asked to make up the room. We left and waited in the lobby while they did that. The same thing happened the next day. We were gone for several hours and did not return until mid afternoon. We could see that our room was not made up but the cleaning staff was in the hallway. As I wanted to take a nap, I told them to just skip our room.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the rooms and facilities were nice. It was a lovely stay, however there were a couple of issues that made it less than perfect, described below.

I don’t think the sheets should be washed in any sort of perfume detergents. also all the soaps and shampoos. 🤢. way too many perfumes. for that reason I won’t stay here again. the hotel towel bar was in a very bad spot. hit my head a couple of time.
