Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

This is not a 4 star! The bathroom door was broken from the hinges and so I had to lift and slam in order to shut it. There were dirty q-tips under the desk and burn holes in the comforter. No

The only thing I didn’t like about was the parking lot which was accessible to any person on the street, and the parking was very narrow
I like the safety and security of the property you couldn’t go upstairs unless you had a key card which was really nice so there’s not random people wandering around the hall , the beds could’ve been a little bit more comfortable, but other than that, there was decent

The continental “breakfast”, was not even close to being a breakfast. It was a loaf of bread, with a toaster. Also our shower didn’t work, had to tell from desk about it.

Staff were not the friendliest or helpful. The room and amenities were not great or clean, there were cracks in the floor, the fridge leaked water. Although the location was great during the day at night I didn't feel safe travelling with my family.
Location was convenient if you want to visit Hollywood Blvd. There is a metro station within 5 mind walk.

My room reeked of urine. I went to the front desk and told them, but housekeeping had left so I was given a spray bottle to spray around to help with the smell. They didn’t even offer a separate room for me and the only reason I got a spray bottle was because I asked for some type of freshener

The elevator wasn’t working and we had to climb 4 flights of stairs with two children and suitcases. Parking lot with poor signage. Few bath towels in the bathroom.

We were on the 2nd floor and the elevator was broken. I'm 72 years old and had a terrible time not only bringing my luggage up the steps, but running up and down the 2 flights to go anywhere-even for breakfast.
The location was where we needed to be. Hot water, clean room, TV, clean towels daily, parking, and breakfast.

1) I did not like the bed… Uncomfortable bed… I could not sleep well. Really very bad bed. 2) The elevator was not working… It was bad to take stairs every time… 3) The value of stay is higher than expected. For example breakfast was not good.

Elevator didn't work 85% of the time we stayed. Were both disabled. Had to use the stairs and it was very difficult. My cousin fell in the shower due to no handlebars since it wasn't a disabled room. No tub. ONLY a shower.

The parking lot stressed me out. I have a very nice sports car. This isn’t the nicest of neighborhood. I was constantly worried that my car would get broken into. You should hire a security guard for at nights. Fix the elevator. Install electrical plug with usb ports.
The breakfast was great. The view of the Griffith observatory was wonderful. The price of the hotel was good.

we arrived saturday. lobby staff told us elevator will be fixed next day sunday so we chose 4th floor... it got fixed wednesday so its kind of disappointing.
great location... close to metro B line. close to bus stations... many restaurants around. there are shops that we need around like marshalls, ross, target, cvs, 7/11, food truck...

I tried checking out but the front desk male was completely passed out asleep.
It was easy to find and there was parking with surveillance cámaras. Next to a lot of stores and restaurants

Mattresses low to ground and very hard. Parking was cramped and difficult to navigate in a midsize SUV. I asked for a quiet room and was placed directly on top of the weird, green door pop up night club so that was great. Not. When I expressed frustration, I was told that they wouldn’t offer any compensation because they don’t know when the night club is open so it isn’t their fault that it interrupted our sleep. The coffee pot was filthy and full of a questionable flaky substance.

There is a night club connected to the hotel blaring music till 2am! It was really run down. The people were nice but I was scared to take the elevator. Even the stairs made loud squeaks when using them. Everything was extremely outdated
