Rooms are extremely clean but very small. No extra room to move. Also , one has to remember it is not a full service hotel. No extra amenities.

We wanted to be in the upper east side for easy access to museums. The hotel is the perfect location for that. The staff always tries to oblige & be helpful.

Some rooms were very very small. The entrance has a staircase with several narrow steps, difficult to access with large suitcases. One night when we were in Washington, we left a large suitcase in the hotel and when we returned the next day, the man at the front desk couldn't find it. The next day it was retrieved without any problems (we never doubted it), but it seems strange that the receptionist doesn't know where the suitcases are kept.

The location is good and apparently safe, because we wanted to be on the Upper East Side. It is close to many places of interest, but also far from many others. The good thing is that the underground is very close, with two lines that take you to the main tourist sites. There are also many restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel has an area to make coffee and tea and sit for a while which is very nice.

There are no bedside electric plugs, making for inconvenience with phones. And extension cords are sometimes not in adequate supply (and are awkward anyone).

We like the hotel very much and stay there fairly often. This time there was a certain falling off in some details. In particular, the bathroom had run out of shower gel, and we had to ask more than once to have it replaced.

The room was too small for the two queen beds. You had to walk sideways between the bed and the closet. The bathroom sink was very small and in an alcove that was narrower than my shoulders which made it hard to use.

The location was perfect and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was spotless and nicely decorated.

Rooms a bit small and on some days a bit cold (we couldn't raise the temperature in any way). I left a suitcase in the luggage room for a few days and when I went to pick it up the person at reception that day could not find it, so I had to wait until the next day to get it back. It seemed strange to me.

I liked the location, on the Upper East Side. Not in the heart of Manhattan, but well served by public transport and within an hour's walk (a very pleasant walk through Central Park or along New York's main avenues) of Times Square.

Closet space needs better hooks and to be adapted for dresses. An iron could be practical. A small fridge would be nice. AC/heater a bit slow/difficult to operate.

Very quiet, slept very well (I’m a light sleeper and usually sleep poorly in hotels, even luxurious ). Window covering does not let cracks of light in in the morning, well designed! Room is small but lovely and cozy and nicely decorated (not generic). Location is great if you like museums and high end shopping. Firm, comfortable bed. Nice shower. Staff is super nice.

Room was tiny. Had a desk but no chair, only an ottoman to sit on. Tiny, tiny bathroom. Sink was in the room. NO iron or ironing board. Come on guys, this is pretty basic.

Clean and nice beds/sheets. The bathroom was tiny, but very clean.

There aren't phone sockets next to the bed – a problem for those who need to keep their phones nearby and charged (just about everyone, I think). The staff do their best to help with extension cords, but the matter could be improved.

A charming property, well renovated and maintained, with a particularly friendly and helpful staff. As typical in New York, rooms are on the small side. But beds are excellent, and the vibe is very good.

The room and ensuite were very small, but very functional for a short stay. The room had a desk and a stool but not one that you could work at for long periods of time. There was a very nice communal area which was suitable if you need to work on laptop for a period of time.

The best thing about this hotel was the staff, they were accommodating, welcoming and nothing was a problem. The hotel itself is located in a lovely neighborhood walking distance to Central Park and the Museum Mile. There were lots of really good coffee shops and restaurants in the area and the Subway was just around the corner so very easy to access uptown New York.

Every single staff member went above and beyond. They were all so kind, helpful, very welcoming. The cookie and the complimentary coffees were also an excellent touch. Thank you for everything 😊 we loved the location as we had plans to visit the met and restaurants nearby. So close to the train we even made it to a couple of Broadway shows.
