The was no electricity, so kids could not watch anything, wifi was off until we left, so they need to consider getting back up for their customers

The towels are not clean and there were no flat sheets. The breakfast was tasty but under whelming for the price.

I didn't like that the reception called me and tell me that there's no space for my family and there's nothing they can do they working with walk ins... But in the end after all that frastruation everything was sorted

Check-in was a nightmare!! I booked via booking.com, but apparently the guesthouse didnt check their account so they weren't expecting us🙃- this...after 12 hours on the road..anyway, we were "allocated" a room (not even sure if it was the correct one, i was too tired to care).There was no hot water after 6pm...not even one evening. Didn't enjoy breakfast either, no choice of eggs-scrambled eggs was served but it was rubbery.

Rooms were very beautiful, clean and well decorated. Staff were friendly, and helpful.

The building and property can do with a bit of maintenance but I understand that they are busy with that now. Covid has been hard on all different levels.

The breakfast was very nice. The location was good because I wanted to be close to Selborne College. The area seemed a bit run down, which I was not expecting. Not sure if it was due to lack of maintenance after Covid etc . But my room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. The decor in the guesthouse section, where I was, were lovely. .

Carpet of the room that they gave me first had a very bad smell, I asked for the air freshener hoping that bad odour will go away. There was no toilet paper I had to ask for it.And I think they knew about that smelling because when I arrived the room was already opened I told the staff about my experience and they didn't hesitate to change me into another room which was clean and comfortable.

Staff was very friendly because I even requested to arrive early before my arrival time and they accepted my request. I liked the location because it was very close to where I was writing my Assessment I didn't even use my car to go there.The breakfast was delicious. Thank you Park Place staff I would definitely come back but please consider to clean or change your carpets.

Wrong advertising. No gowns or slippers as advertised. Not a 4 star facility as claimed. Broken shower handle fixed with sellotape in room 11. Room 4 bed is broken balanced with a brick under the base. Dirty and smelly carpet. No TV remote in room 4. I had to pay additional fee to be moved from room4 to room 11 due to smelly carpet.
