This is an awesome property. The location is breathtaking and it’s very convenient to explore the nearby region in the garden route , Oudtshoorn and Cango Caves. The host Ms. Hoffman is an artist and her paintings are showcased throughout the property. It has a boutique studio vibe. Hoffmans are a warm couple who welcomes the guests personally and provides the introductory tour to the property. Right on the beach, it’s a great place to relax and explore.

Absolutely loved the location. We could walk through the garden and directly onto the beach, which is aprox 5k from end to end of beautiful sand great to run or walk along. Our views from breakfast were stunning and from our balcony we watched Dolphins playing in the waves directly outside the Villa. The staff were friendly and breakfast was made to order. The owners are friendly and very accommodating, their guest house is their home which is stunning. It is a short drive to the plenty of restaurant options and the local supermarket. We enjoyed a great meal at The Girls restaurant. We used Wilderness as a base to visit Knysna which is only 40min drive away.

There was nothing to not like.

Location of Xanadu is perfect. Sea facing rooms and easy access to the beach. Breakfast was great and you could order whatever you wanted within reason. Honesty bar available with a wide range of drinks to suite anyone's taste. The building itself is very open and spacious, staff are extremely friendly, and the gardens are a delight. Plenty of parking available. Inverter available so not affected by lloadshedding.

The hosts were extraordinary excellent. We enjoyed the beautiful house atmosphere with marvellous paintings and an excellent self service bar. Also thanks to the hosts for allowing us to make our own Braai! We‘ll come again.

The best guesthouse that we have been to - ever. Great rooms- great views - great staff - There was nothing the hosts Albert and Teresa did not think about. Complementary filter coffee was available anytime of the day. The Breakfast must be mentioned as it was amazing. Thank you for upgrading us to a beautiful see view room without costs. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality and care. We hope to visit you again.

The guesthouse was superb. The rooms are gorgeous and the views are spectacular. The rooms are comfortable with the nice extras that make you feel treated i.e dressing gowns. The staff are lovely too. Easy access to the beach.

Incredible view of the beach, we got upgraded to the presidential suite which is the best room we've ever stayed in (would happily pay to stay there next time). Albert was also a great host, thanks guys!

Compared to other accomplishments we stayed at the staff was rather cold and there could be more healthy options for breakfast (vegetables & fruits). But this critics are on a very high level!

Really wonderful equipped villa, the room was super clean & we had the best view on the Wilderness beach.

I liked everything about this property. It looks as beautiful in person as it does in the pictures. Their breakfast is also really good. The accommodation was clean, safe and very peaceful. Great location, lovely view, comfortable bed, wonderful Coffee machine I like it 😄. Overall very enjoyable The host and staff were amazing I enjoyed my stay.
