Great Location on the Murray River with spacious park and picnic lawn areas from the back of the room to the riverbank.

The enclosed courtyard / garden was peaceful, nicely laid out. Pool was good. Free laundry access. Spacious rooms. And of course, pet friendly.

Featuring free Wi-Fi, High St Motel is located in Echuca. All rooms feature a large flat-screen TV. There is a free shuttle bus to and from local clubs. I met no staff as you are given a door code number before arrival. It may seem impersonal but it's a convenient way to get into your room quickly when you're tired and just want to rest. (A tip: record the four-digit code on your phone etc. If you don't have a perfect memory!) I was able to park right outside my front door. Everything was immaculately clean and the bed very comfy. It is close to town and the paddle boat rides, and within walking distance of some nice eateries. There's even a very pleasant cafe next door if you feel like breakfast or a snack. Although it's on a main road, I found it very quiet at night. The test of a motel is the question, would I go back there again? In this instance, definitely yes.

The place is pleasant. There is a beautiful garden downstairs. We could pick up some fruit that are fresh and sweet. Kym is a knowledgeable person with a lot of life experience.
