The room is your own haven with screened walls on some walls for a bug-free immersion into the forest. Very light/clean/airy! The night insects whistle at night, and you wake to the birds in the morning! The grounds are stunning and immaculate! They have lovely cats & dogs happily enjoying the property with you! Especially Mateo!:: ... They have the best customer service, handling all your needs, and they speak English and Spanish which can be a big plus for travelers! They sent their dogs with me for the back roads hike to beautiful waterfalls! The dogs led the way (pic attached!). Then when I came back, I tracked mud all over my floor. Carmen instantly arrived with a mop and cleaned my floor! Then I had a perfectly clean room again! 👍 .... I fell in love with Trompito, and the staff here mentioned a nice apartment down the road, which ended up being perfect for me, and now I will be neighbors to this lovely accommodations that offers you a unique and complete experience of a lifetime!

Located in the hills outside Santa Marta, Mincaecohabs Hotel Hotel offers on-site nature walking, beautiful tropical gardens. Free WiFi and free breakfast are included. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Basic amenities but good enough. The views from the property are very nice. The Hotel is very close to Minca town, just 5 min walking (uphill but very doable). The only inconvenience is that you can hear the traffic from the road down the hill. It is quite noisy, even at night. But I always travel with earplugs. ;) the breakfast is very basic but nice. The views from the restaurant are gorgeous! I will come back! PS: I recommend getting a full body massage!!

Just half a block from Santa Marta’s Marina, Casa de Isabella, a Kali Hotel has rooms with iPod docking stations and free Wi-Fi. Very stylish and exremely friendly, for te price of the low season great! Good breakfast. Very good beds and a lot of space, lovely decoration.

Close to beach and very nice room, spacy, quiet, nicely equipped. If we go back to Taganga we definitely stay here again.
