OREA Resort Horizont Šumava is located on the southern slope of Pancíř Hill. It offers an indoor swimming pool and a terrace with panoramic views. Wellness facilities can be enjoyed free of charge. To be honest I didn´t expect the beauty of the hotel. I guess there is no better place to stay in surrounding of Zelezna Ruda and the hill called Pancir. If you pay for breakfast and the dinner you can´t do better. Delicisous food and rich variety of it. Cozy rooms, comfortable bedroom... Thank you!

Staff welcoming, helpful and smiling. The food was tasty and very good for the value we paid. Our 18 months old enjoyed very much the kids area which is relatively huge and definitely safe.

Residence Lipno is set in Lipno nad Vltavou, 1.8 km from Lipno Dam. The nearest beach is 200 meters from the property. Free WiFi is offered and free private parking is available on site. Amazing houses, super clean, beautiful and comfortable. The house, and especially the kitchen was equipped with anything you might need during the stay. Our house had a heated floor and a fireplace, which was extremely nice since the weather was quite cold. The private parking is just near the door.

Pension Stříbrný vítr offers guests romantic accommodation with a self-service bar with a bar and a wide range of delicacies on the grill from the local farm. Very friendly reception by staff, property is extremely well kept and seems to be freshly renovated. We should have stayed longer than just one night. Spacious and sunny terrace, very cosy living/dining room with extensive choice of board games. We were here in early summer but I imagine the big fireplace must be cosy as well in cooler evenings, also in view of the well assorted bar. Breakfast excellent even by the high Czech standards.

Set next to a forest and surrounded by meadows, Penzion Stará Vápenka is located in Svinná and features a restaurant offering regional cuisine with products from a nearby farm, a spa area with a steam... Great location, far away from the turistic parts of Sumava Great place for hiking - you can walk the whole day without meeting another soul The guy in the kitchen is priceless!!! Love his cooking.

Located in the village of Kubova Huť and only 150 metres from the Školní Ski Slope, Penzion Pod Boubínem offers en-suite accommodation, a garden, shared lounge and ski and bike storage.

Situated in Horní Planá, family-run Penzion Lipno Jantar provides a restaurant where breakfast can be served, ski and bicycle storage and a garden with barbecue facilities. Free WiFi is available. The hosts are lovely and tried very hard to give us the most information about the area and what can be done....and the food was delicious 😋... we will be back

Located on the Route 22, 3 km from the historical centre of Klatovy, Steak Restaurant Penzion Country Saloon offers accommodation and a restaurant, both designed in country-style. An amazing facility with bar, restaurant, and accommodation available, with a great atmosphere, it rocks in a Saturday evening with a band in house, the staff are good, food and drink likewise. You can do a picturesque circular walk, around the surrounding areas and villages back to the Country Saloon Penzion. A short taxi to the train station cost me 150 Czech crowns.
