Due to the Christmas holidays, the SPA was operating only until 6 p.m., so we asked to arrive about two hours earlier than the standard check-in time. Our request was noted in the reservation, and to our delight the room was already ready when we arrived. As a pleasant surprise, the room was located right next to the SPA entrance, which turned out to be incredibly convenient. The room itself was very cozy and thoughtfully designed. The bathroom was a real highlight, with a stylish glass wall, a sliding glass door on rails, and a curtain for privacy. The mattress and pillow were absolutely excellent: soft and comfortable, yet supportive at the same time. The moment my head touched the pillow, I instantly felt like sleeping—and I slept like a baby. Without a doubt, this is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in, if not the best. Its high rating is truly well deserved.

Tampere Maja offers accommodation in an 18th century wooden house in the heart of the Old Town of Tartu. There is a cultural club in the cellar, showing exhibitions of Estonian and Finnish art. Great stay in a historic building with it's own character. There were kitchen options in common areas on both floors. Pleasant communication with staff. Despite central location area there was quiet in the room.

The Antonius is a luxurious boutique hotel in the heart of the old town of Tartu, directly opposite the main building of Tartu university. Tartu Town hall is 170 metres away. Everything was outstanding including the breakfast. Very nice and helpful staff.

She is friendly, helped us with the suggestions on the local sightseeing, speaks several languages. The breakfast is great. There is an open bar at the house, you can take if you need anything and pay later. You can play pool (billiards) and other games. The house is very safe, clean and comfortable.

Just 10 minutes’ walk from Tartu’s historic cultural centre, Vikerkaare Villa offers bright rooms with free Wi-Fi and a private shower room. I loved the impressive interior- felt like living in a castle. Very unique. I was welcomed warmly by the owner. Convenient location, very quiet area and walking distance from the city centre. Overall a perfect stay! Would stay again.
