Domus Maris Relais is a lovely bijou hotel in the centre of Sciacca. Our room was large with a view over the harbour and a balcony. Great decor. Breakfast had lots of options and was tasty and served in a lovely stone walled, arched ceiling room. Host was very helpful and friendly.

Offering a terrace and views of the garden, B&B Sciara Larmisi is located in the City Centre district in Catania, 500 metres from Piazza Duomo and 3 minutes' walk from Piazza Teatro Massimo. You know a Superhost when you see one – and Emanuele is exactly that! From the very beginning he was incredibly helpful with every single detail, even assisting us with parking multiple times to make sure everything was stress-free. The room itself was cosy and had that perfect “homey” feeling we were hoping for in Catania. The bed was extremely comfortable, which made it easy to rest well after long days of exploring the city. Emanuele went above and beyond by welcoming us with bottled water, milk, soft drinks, and even a bottle of prosecco – such a thoughtful touch. There was also a coffee machine with pods ready to use, which made mornings extra nice. Breakfast was fantastic: you could choose between freshly made scrambled eggs or enjoy the classic Sicilian sweet breakfast. And the cappuccino he prepared in the morning was absolutely amazing! The location couldn’t be better – just steps away from the Duomo, with everything in the city center within walking distance. We truly loved our stay here and would definitely come back again – next time for at least a week! Thank you, Emanuele, for everything and for making our time in Catania unforgettable.

Featuring a sun terrace and free WiFi throughout, Secret B&B is set 500 metres from Trapani Train Station. Trapani Airport is a 25-minute drive away. Secret B&B is located in a picturesque building (old medieval vibes but renovated and decorated with great taste), super clean rooms, comfy beds and new equipment. Both the staff and the host were very friendly, they accommodated our every need and also some had great advice on how to best enjoy our time in Trapani. Last but not least, the highlight was the great breakfast! There was a table full of fresh and yummy pastries and bread and the staff asked as every morning if we would like some eggs and coffee (freshly prepared). I had the best scrambled eggs I've had in a while and I will probably miss them!
