My stay in Ryokan Yamanami is excellent. The staffs are all nice and approachable. The foods are all delicious and it’s all different in my 3 night’s stay. My room Is very spacious and I love the private onsen. Location is walkable from the station. And it’s a good exercise to walked from Ryokan to lake Kirinko. I will definitely be back next time. 😊

Situated along Tanohara River and surrounded by tranquil nature in Kurokawa Onsen hot spring area, Oku no Yu Ryokan offers charming Japanese-style accommodation and various hot spring baths. Enjoyed the quaint garden path along the river on the property. There were many baths (with great water quality), some of which are private, but with no extra charge. The outdoor pools were heavenly, one of which was by the riverside and a waterfall view. The room was clean and huge with two very comfortable twin beds and a balcony. The Japanese-style breakfast was great, although if one wants a western style, it may be a problem. The service was impeccable. You couldn’t ask for more pleasant and helpful staff.

Located in the heart of the city, Hotel Nikko Kumamoto features accommodations with free wired internet access and views of Kumamoto Castle. Staff, service, location, breakfast, room, beds, bathroom, castle view from the room … all excellent. And Toyota rent a car, just 10 minutes walk from the hotel Big thanks to the Nikko hotel team

Great in-house shopping at prices that are very reasonable. In house brewery and a whole lot more that I didn't get the chance to try on our two night stay.

The food was extremely good. They even have a really nice private onsen.

Located in Chikushino, 500 metres from Buso-ji Temple, Daimaru Besso has a number of amenities including a bar and free WiFi. The food presentation and quality was excellent. The staff was very kind and professional. Would highly recommend.

Kannawaen is an entirely non-smoking accommodation that features a garden, terrace and bar in Beppu. 100 metres from Hells of Beppu, the property is also 500 metres away from Jigokumushikobo Kannawa. Lovely location. In room onsen was so awesome to have. Views from the balcony were exceptional, mountains, the city and the sea. The food was absolutely gourmet level and was a highlight for us. The staff were warm, friendly and helpful.

Built in 1722, Okyakuya is situated in the historical district of Kurokawa Onsen district. Located only 100 metres from Kurokawa Onsen, Free WiFi is provided and private parking is available on site. One of the best experience in a ryokan of my life. The stay is not expensive at all if we consider all the services they provide. If you are planning to stay a night in kurokawa onsen i would really recommend this ryokan, authentic and traditional experience. The staff is very kind and always ready to help, they even took me to the bus station the day after! The dinner and breakfast experience are a must! Staff will explain every dish in details and will guide you in a real culinary experience with fresh local flavour! Also amazing indoor and outdoor onsen!

The food was the best food we have ever eaten and the staff and service were superb! I can’t recommend this place highly enough. If you’re in Japan and want a truly authentic experience stay here.
