Ryokan Asunaro: A Traditional Japanese Inn in Takayama. Nestled just a 6-minute walk from Takayama Station and the Nohi Bus Center, Ryokan Asunaro offers an authentic Japanese inn experience. Beautifully furnished and staff attentive and welcoming. Japanese meals were beautifully presented and I highly recommend the experience of a Ryoken stay.

Ryokan Hostel K's House nằm trong Tòa nhà Văn hóa Vật thể đã Đăng ký có niên đại 100 năm tuổi ở quận Shizuoka, cách Ga Tàu JR Ito 7 phút đi bộ. The hostel was located in a Showa era ryokan building, right next to the Tokaikan and only 300 mts. from the beach. It's like immersing yourself in a Miyazaki movie, but with today's plumbing. The place is exquisitely preserved, with a large lounge area and free access to the banquet halls to relax. There are small Showa era decorations all around, so it is fun to go looking around. It also has a complete kitchen. The public onsen in the basement is really nice, altough a bit small, but I was alone everytime I went there, so I had a huge bath to myself, comparatively. If you are reluctant to share a bath, there are also two small private onsen that you can use. The staff was really friendly and they recommended a lot of nice local restaurants for dinner.

The hotel is a little bizarre, you feel like you're in a film!

Featuring private open-air hot spring bath in all rooms, Isaribi is located in Hagashiizu, 2.7 km from Atagawa Hot Springs. The two large onsen spas were EXCELLENT. I love the system that they had where if you lock the door, you can have the spa all to yourself and your family. The dinner, though you have to order separately, was one of THE BEST. Breakfast was also EXCELLENT. Isaribi is one of the top three onsen hotels I've ever stayed and I can't count how many onsen I've visited in my entire life.

Great traditional-style Ryokan. Walking distance from the town and there is on site parking. Large, clean rooms. Ample meals. Both an indoor and outdoor public bath. Right next to a flowing river. Very pleasant staff.
