Location was amazing- walking distance from the station and from the old town. The place was beautiful, and the rooms had everything. Futons were very comfy. The onsen was the best I tried so far (but I haven’t tried a lot). We did the private bath, and it was really nice. They also lend you yukatas to wear around the ryokan. And the staff were very friendly, hospitable and helpful!

Excellent place with amazing service! Apart from 1)the glorious ocean view(the host upgraded our room into one with ocean view) 2)free pick up from nearby places, which many comments have already mentioned, what I really appreciated is that the host was really trying to make our stay more pleasant. There was no toothbrush cup when we first got there, and my friend left her toothbrush on the table when we went out. When we went back she found her toothbrush put in a lovely small toothbrush cup. That was so sweet! The place itself was very nice as well, the weather was pretty good during our stay and we saw many stars at night, perfect place for getting away from the cities and enjoying nature.

The hotel is a little bizarre, you feel like you're in a film!

Situated in a tranquil area in Gifu Region, a 52-minute drive away from JR Takayama Station, Mozumo boasts a hot-spring bath and rooms decorated with modern Japanese interior. We had lovely two nights in Mozumo. We had a room with our own hot bath which was an amazing experience. Quiet location, still near the bus station. Minimalistic and luxurious interior. Rooms had some nice beauty products. Breakfast and dinner were great experiences: miso cooked on top of a large leaf and rice cooked with traditional kamameshi pot was very memorable.

Offering free WiFi access at public areas and indoor/outdoor hot spring baths, Tatsuta Ryokan is located a 5-minute walk from Yugashima Onsenguchi Bus Stop from which Shuzenji Station is a 30-minute... Perfection! me and my friend really enjoyed the Ryokan. There is a small like museum at the lobby, and local items you can pruchase. The staff service are perfect, very helpful throughout the whole process. The private onsen are the main selling point for us, we truly enjoyed it. The sushi shop is also a walking distance we really recommend trying out, delicious and affordable. The breakfast view is so calming, with the heated table to keep us warm.
