Everything was new and of excellent quality. Lovely pool area and gym. The breakfasts were absolutely wonderful! And the staff went out of their way to be kind and helpful at all times.

The room was of good size, comfortable bed, desk etc and excellent shower. The air-con was efficient and very necessary! Breakfast is by the pool and offers a daily "Asian special" which features the different cuisines of the island. The hotel is located just outside the UNESCO bufferzone, the neighbourhood is safe and very walkable with many exceptional eating options within a short walk. Special mention for the hotel staff who were exceptionally welcoming and attentive.

The hotel itself is a gem, beautifully designed and full of charm (don't forget to have an aperitif on the terrace). Also, there was a little surprise from the chef in the fridge at the end of every day. Breakfast is in the nice Italian restaurant downstairs (Michelin recommended) which offers a good variety of a la card options to start your day. The location in the middle of the old town is perfect to explore by foot.
