Everything about the property were 10/10! I have already recommend the property to my family and friends! The owner had gone above and beyond, provided everything we needed for the weeks stay. The site the property was on was excellent, our dog loved being able to run in the orchard morning and night. Val the owner left us a bottle of prosecco and more upon our arrival, even the dog got a bone! The property was very very clean and we were blown away with the design of the property! The added bonus of being able to watch all sports and brand new released films on the TV was also great for the evenings we stayed in the property. Amazing location with Cartmel only being a two minute drive away or short walk. Also ideal spot to travel to all popular locations around the lakes! We will for sure want to stay again!

central location for visiting the Lake District about 8 minutes to Cartmel for dinner, went to the Cavendish arms , delicious! Breakfast was amazing! Glass of wine on arrival and delicious cupcakes and shortbread for us ! could not recommend more highly , a lovely couple and their dog Lennon !!

The Inn is not really walking distance to Cartmel so we had to leave the car in the village and appreciated very much that on request we were collected from the restaurant with our bags and taken back to the Inn by a very friendly man. The king size bed was super comfy, the bathroom was spacious and there was a lovely view down the valley. The room was very clean and quiet. We have stayed in Cartmel before, but not at the Priory, and we were very impressed with the hotel and the very helpful staff. Our rooms were spacious, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The large beds were very comfortable, and the hotel has decent WiFi.

First time we had taken our poochon Harley to a hotel for the night and everything was perfect. ,even to the breakfast , where he was able to join us. Staff are all lovely and it is obvious that they take pride in their work & strive to make your stay a very comfortable one. The Uplands is in a perfect location to visit Cartmel. We would definitely recommend and hope to be able to visit again some day soon . 😊
