It was amazing. No shortage of anything. Querky house with large bedrooms, all having solid reclaimed interesting wood furniture and ample storage. Books, DVDs, Maps and brochures aplenty. An ideal centre for the friends and family staying following my son's wedding. Places within the house to be private or the huge lounge area for companiable TV or chat. Also a fabulously appointed kitchen. The garden was truly a gem. Wildlife prolific. Utterly restful place. Lots of sitting areas, barbeque and pizza oven. The village has a great pub and vineyard, where the food is delicious.. Grocery shops unobtrusively nearby and an amazing farm fresh meat/organic food shop just up the road. A garden centre where the staff were so helpful and the tartare sauce is the best I've ever tasted. An oasis of peace to recharge

The evening meals and breakfasts were excellent, and there was a good selection of real ales. The staff were very friendly and the service very professional. There was a good atmosphere in the bar. We will certainly return if the opportunity arises.
