The location was perfect for our visit to Cangas de Onís, it took 5 minutes to get to the centre by car and the apartment was peaceful and relaxing. Just what we were looking for..

The Hotel Palacio de Meras is a four star hotel and only about €8 p/p more than a hostel if you are staying in a double room. We literally thought we were in the wrong place when we arrived. It felt so luxurious!!! The rooms are large and have all the perks of an expensive hotel - great quality soap and shampoo in the bathrooms, a two-sided adjustable make-up mirror, a hair dryer...a mini-fridge... It has a formal dining room, a bar and tables out in the plaza. The portions were insanely big and delicious. And the location is great. A block away from a supermarket, half a block from a pharmacy, and close to other key businesses like cafes, bakeries, and bars.

The spacious private bathroom features a bidet, a bathtub and free toiletries. We liked everything. the building was very impressive and also the quality of the fit-out.

Some rooms also have a seating area with a sofa and beamed ceilings. The room was amazing. We had so much fun. The staff and the owner were just wonderful. And we were "tratados como Reyes"
