Breakfast was very nice. I enjoyed the japanese breakfast with fish; curry, oden with miso soup and rice. The osen would clean and not crowded. The area is great for hiking for all levels. I 76 yrs old...but the hike downhill from the hotel was beautiful. The few shops provide manji and cookies for purchase. The wifi was excellent. The local bus to Nihonmatsu is very cheap.

The onsen was amazing. an hour drive from fukushima station by car, a beautiful onsen with really good food (dinner and breakfist) , a waterfall outside the window and a really clean and nice rock outdoor onsen. the experience was like a scene from anime. it was fantastic.

A good location for a relaxing stay in Inawashiro, Mori no RyoTei Mount Bandai is a ryokan surrounded by views of the mountain.

Room was very spacious and cosy, with nice traditional Japanese sweets and delicious green tea provided. The view overlooking the river behind the accommodation was lovely, especially during winter with snowfall blanketing the landscape. The onsen was clean and well-maintained.
