The Onsen on the top floor of the hotel is great. The breakfast was good, and the staff was friendly. Right opposite is also a nice local joint with good food for lunch or dinner.

The location was perfect! The dinner and breakfast were delicious. The Onsen is fabulous! The staff is super helpful! I highly recommend this hotel. The views from the room to the water made us feel so relaxed and peaceful. Thankful for the shuttle service to and from the train station:)

The staff was very nice at this hotel and the typical japanese room was an interesting experience!! I loved the little things the hotel did to make you feel taken care of such as providing free cold juice all day long, free ice cream in the afternoon and soup in the evening!!

Amazing location - the view from the dining area, onsen and rooms is amazing overlooking the mountains from a secluded perch. From the moment you walk in you are made to feel so welcome in a warm family-run establishment. The food is some of the best we ate this trip. A real convivial vibe with everyone congregating for drinks on the terrace ahead of dinner. Make sure to try the homemade ume-shu!

The hotel did not have all rooms with a Western off the floor bed. The information at Booking.com was VERY UNCLEAR that this was not specified. I did not want a Japanese sleep on the floor futon and when this was discovered there were no rooms with a bed. When you look at the booking it shows rooms with beds .. not sleep on the floor. The manager was very nice and tried to help with this but also everything had to be translated.

The room is clean. The ocean view from the onsen on 2nd floor is spectacular. The staffs are friendly and very helpful. Breakfast and dinner are great and variety.
