Very clean, cozy, friendly owner and her adorable dogs! Kaiseki was absolutely delicious! The view from the room was stunning, especially in the morning, when you can see the sunrise. The location is perfect, 3-5 mins walk from the cable car. Gorgeous Hozanji temple is only 5 mins away. Highly recommended.

Kotono yado Musashino offers accommodation in Nara, and is located a 11-minute drive from Nara Station on the Kintetsu Nara Line. They gave special care as we were on honeymoon. Enjoyed the great service. Free entry to the hillside with picnic mat and breakfast bento. Superb! They also helped us call for taxi and was overall very attentive.

Wakasa Annex features an outdoor hot public bath and free WiFi. Other facilities include a 24-hour reception, drinks vending machines and free parking. Todai-ji Temple is only an 8-minute walk. Amazing property with great onsens! The rooftop was amazing

Offering public baths, Yoshidaya Ryokan よしだや is situated in front of Sarusawa-ike Pond. Kofuku-ji Temple is just a 2-minute walk away. Free WiFi is available on site. This is a really good Ryokan! I love staying here. Very clean, genuinely friendly staffs and very good food. Every day it is a different ryokan meals.very delicious too.

Staying at Hotobil was one of my favorite parts of our whole trip to Japan - and the food was straight up the BEST (and we ate a lot of great meals out there). The location is super easy to access, just a minute away from the main tourist-friendly loop bus through town, in a quiet residential neighborhood - as soon as we stepped through the door, we felt at home, like we were visiting family, not a hotel. Our host is the nicest, most helpful lady, and the best cook. She was also so fast responding to our questions! My dad and I are both fish-ambivalent vegetarians and we made a last-minute request for breakfast (pictured! yes all that just for breakfast!) as well as dinner just a few days before we got there and as I said, they were the two best meals we had all trip. We stayed in the Japanese style tatami room, which was beautiful and almost absurdly spacious for two, with super comfy mattresses and fluffy pillows and duvets. It was enchanting, and we wished we were staying a second night (and yes, there's more than enough to see in Nara for two days).

A 12-minute walk from the Kintetsu Nara Train Station, Hotel New Wakasa offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami (woven-straw) flooring. everything was over the top! the place is beautiful, we stayed in the new rooms which the design is another league, keeping the Japanese style, with mountains views. The meal service was the best experience I had in Japan, also traditional. The staff is hyper kind. Is the best Ryokan experience I had. Definitely will be back!

A 2-minute walk from Kintetsu-Nara Station, a 5-minute taxi ride from JR Nara Train Station and a 5-minute walk from Kofuku-ji Temple, Kasuga Hotel features Japanese cuisine and beautiful hot public... Perfect location and still completely quiet and refined. The beds were unbelievably comfortable!

Nằm trong Rừng nguyên sinh Kasugayama - Di Sản Thế Giới được UNESCO công nhận, Tsukihitei cung cấp phòng nghỉ được trang trí theo phong cách Nhật Bản cho tầm nhìn ra toàn cảnh khu rừng và đi kèm sàn... It was a wonderful experience staying at Tsukihitei, very private and in the middle of Nara Park. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful; they took care of every single detail, a unique Omotenashi experience. The food was also exceptional. I just wish I had arrived earlier to enjoy the facility a bit more.
