The staff was extremely helpful and kind, explaining everything in nearly perfect english. The ryokan also has a private bath that I was able to experience with my wife. The location is beautiful and calm, and I recommend waking up early and climbing the stairs to temple.

Kotono yado Musashino offers accommodation in Nara, and is located a 11-minute drive from Nara Station on the Kintetsu Nara Line. My husband and I loved our stay. The hospitality and kindness of the staff has been incredible. They made our first ryokan experience memorable

Offering public baths, Yoshidaya Ryokan よしだや is situated in front of Sarusawa-ike Pond. Kofuku-ji Temple is just a 2-minute walk away. Free WiFi is available on site. This is a really good Ryokan! I love staying here. Very clean, genuinely friendly staffs and very good food. Every day it is a different ryokan meals.very delicious too.

One of the best places I have ever stayed. The host was the niccest lady. Really good Japanese breakfast as well.

The food is great, don’t forget to order vegan meals if you are vegan or veggie because they do serve meat and fish at this monastery. The location is great, the grounds are immense and very beautiful especially at night. Sleeping on a futon is not my thing but apart from that the rooms are comfortable and the monks are very nice.

A 2-minute walk from Kintetsu-Nara Station, a 5-minute taxi ride from JR Nara Train Station and a 5-minute walk from Kofuku-ji Temple, Kasuga Hotel features Japanese cuisine and beautiful hot public... Very nice hotel, amazing staff (they helped me sort out an issue i had, not regarding the hotel). Public bath is good, Japanese breakfast was good. We stayed in a Japanese style room and it was good looking and comfortable

It’s clean, and conveniently accessible to the main attractions in Nara. The food is great too, not to mention the friendly and helpful staff.
