What I liked most was the quality of the staff and service. The manager who greeted me was very informative, helpful and a real problem solver. The property offers a turn down service in the evening and checks guests have water. The elegance of the house and the variety of seating areas on the ground floor and even the first floor were impressive. I liked being able to walk into the village and even catch a train to the next town. There are some good places to eat within easy walking distance.

Fantastic views, we could see whales from our window. Enjoyed restaurant recommendations we received from the owner. Will definitly be back for a weekend away.
Loved Kalk Bay. We were very pleased that we had decided to stay here rather nearer to Cape Town city centre. There were lots of shops, bars and restaurants to choose from, it is close to Boulders Beach and close to the Zandvlei parkrun, which we did on the Saturday morning. We felt very safe there.

Kalk Bay is beautiful seaside village where everyone just gets on and gets along. A lovely mix of bohemian market feel, seaside quality and amazing beaches on my favourite stretch of the greater Cape Town coast.

DIVINE!
DIVINE! Eclectic, quirky and just too much to explore with regards to the beautiful shops, galleries and restaurants in one day. A must visit place for overseas visitors to see as it is a more old side scene of Cape Town with so much more heritage than the modern Cape Town city centre and other more bustling suburbs, with its cobbled narrow streets and beautiful old buildings and homes. Let's not forget the beach or tidal pools and plenty of adventure sea opportunities literally right on your doorstep. I come form Cape Town and going to Kalk Bay always make me feels like I have gone on holiday to another city. By far one of my favourite spots in Cape Town.

Kalk Bay is a beautiful little seaside fishing village about a 45 minute drive from Cape Town. The seaside town is filled with great seafood restaurants, quirky pubs, antique shops and artisans selling their wares. The town can best be described as a village with a chilled, bohemian vibe. It's a perfect getaway to chill out and enjoy a weekend away.

Quirky and vibey little sea side village with many great places to eat, interesting shops for browsing and great beaches. The working harbour is interesting and a perfect place to buy fish straight off the boats.
Everything is close by so no need to drive around of struggle for parking.
You know you are going to have a good stay if you smell flowers on entering a place. The decor is elegant and the hosts go out of their way to make it amazing stay by putting fresh flowers , milk and rusks and chocolate for your sweet tooth. It is super convenient to the most sought after breakfast spot in Kalk bay. The mosaic in the shower is stunning. So close enough to explore Kalk bay and easy to get back for a nap in-between.
Susanna, the host is super friendly and the view is great. Close to the rock pools and the little boutique hotel down by the road serves delicious breakfast.
