We stayed at The Amalfi as a short one day stay. We were looking for an alternative accommodation to a cheap motel. What we got was a beautiful updated clean room. It was cosy, although a little on the small side, but considering the price it looked much nicer than your average motel. The bed was comfortable and the linen was clean, the bathroom looked updated and also clean. Only thing missing for us was a small bar fridge and a kettle in the room; as I like to have a tea before going to bed without having to leave the room. The communal area was elegant and warm, although a little dark (but I assume that was the ambiance they were going for). Personally not somewhere I would stay for longer than 2 days as the room was quite small and I can get rather claustrophobic (although you could use the communal areas if you don't want to stay in your room), but definitely a great choice for a quick stay.

Reuben's restaurant seems to have changed hands. The quality of Italian cuisine has slipped. Waited for one hour
for meal to be served. Quality of the cuisine and service at Virgins kitchen are to be highly recommend.

Beautiful area and well worth coming to.
Beautiful area and well worth coming to. However, we were there from Monday to Wednesday and although quiet many shops and cafes weren’t open.
However, the natural beauty of the area and the Bathhouse were still able to be enjoyed. Highly recommend.
Loved the Springs, Bathhouse, Lavandula and Lake Daylesford.

Hepburn Springs is quite an expensive place.
Hepburn Springs is quite an expensive place. I would recommend it for couples with no kids. Having said that, the countryside itself is beautiful and there are some lovely walks to be had. Lavandula and the chocolate mill were a highlight.

This was such a beautiful, peaceful location to stay.
This was such a beautiful, peaceful location to stay. We loved the wet room with a beautiful marble spa bath and surround sound so we could watch movies from the spa! The layout of the room was lovely, spacious and had everything we needed - including bath robes which is always a winner in our eyes! There was a cute welcome pack upon arrival with some nice snacks, T2 teas and great grounded coffee. No contact check in with clear instructions. Such a romantic place to stay and at a fair price - we will definitely be back!

The staff, especially Kim and Carolyn, were so friendly and helpful - even organised chocolates and cider for my partner's birthday.
We loved the room, the spa tub was totally worth it. With a room like that, you don't need to visit the hot springs.
Breakfast was delicious, great coffee and choice of food.
We also loved the warm fireplaces in the common areas and the well-maintained gardens.
My partner had a remedial massage at the spa and said it was excellent!
The location was perfect. The cottage was gorgeous, the gardens were lovely, outside facilities were great. The decor was quirky & retro and I loved it. Heating facilities were terrific at night. Generous shower space with plenty of hot water. Lovely modern kitchen. The swing on the front porch was divine and well utilized by myself and my girlfriend.
The place is cozy, clean, comfortable, close to the restaurants, shops and spa’s. It is the perfect romantic getaway place for my husband and I who haven’t seen each other since the pandemic started. Alice was very accomodating and helpful throughout my booking process. The welcome box was very much appreciated too.
The beds were comfy. Electric blankets were great and very useful. The spa was good. Big TV with netflix. Couch was comfy enough. Loved the fire place. Bottle of wine was a nice surprise. The split system was needed for the heater. Towels provided but they were small.
Only 3 minute drive to the spa was great. Dinner was exceptional. Our waitress was fantastic! The room was very so clean and the beds were very comfortable. Our check in experience was thorough and helpful. We were very appreciative for an early check in too!
The upstairs area of the property is lovely, spacious and light with a lovely green aspect from the trees in the full length windows. The kitchen was generally well appointed and the gas fire welcome on a chilly night.
The location was perfect as we had a wedding at Peppers which is directly across the road. The space was huge, big dining and kitchen and great sized living area. The bedrooms and en-suite were huge, it was perfect.
lovely old style hotel with lots of personality - beautiful old lobby bar. We ate at Virgin restaurant and had a very good meal. Enjoyed our day at the Hepburn Bathhouse which is very close by.
Lovely comfortable getaway, the heater was on when we arrived, and there was a box of goodies waiting for us too!
The spa and sauna were lovely and the tranquil surroundings were perfect
Good value for money, close to everything in Hepburn springs, rooms are a bit dated but everything was clean, tidy and functional so overall good experience.
