The most exclusive Costa del Sol resort, Marbella stands for beaches and beautiful people. Expensive yachts line the marinas here and in nearby Puerto Banús, where supercars outnumber saloons. It also has the best clubs, as well as designer shops and trendy fish restaurants. Look out for the celebrities that holiday here or live on the Golden Mile, home to only the fanciest villas and Marbella hotels.
Marbella beaches stretch over 16 miles, all set against the backdrop of spectacular mountains, best viewed from a boat. You might even spot a dolphin. The beaches at Puerto Banús and San Pedro Alcántara have a Blue Flag, while the most popular are Venus and La Fontanilla in the town centre. Artola Beach also has protected dunes.
Attractions in Marbella include the 10 Dalí sculptures on Avenida del Mar, and the cobbled Old Town streets lined with colourful Andalusian-style houses. Picturesque Orange Square has pavement cafes under the shade of orange trees, and nearby are remains of a Moorish castle and the 16th-century town walls.
Other well-heeled pursuits include horseracing at the Hipodromo Costa del Sol, and the area’s golf courses, including one designed by national hero Seve Ballesteros.
Malaga Airport is the nearest and Booking.com has a great range of accommodation in Marbella and the surrounding villages.
Beautiful place to visit.
We heired a villa to accommodate all the family, so had teenagers with us.
The area is lovely, beaches are great.
We took the catamaran to marbella old town.
Puerto Banus is expensive so the old town is a day out and cheeper too!

Marbella is a lovely beach town, very bustling with good food and drink options to suit every palate and budget. The golden mile is a treasure trove of beachfront experiences, and while 3 days is enough to explore the place and catch the main attractions, I'm sure I will be back just to relax and enjoy the lovely food, drink and sea!
Bonus was getting a table at Skina, the two Michelin star restaurant, on the one night we were free and the restaurant was open! The Michelin guide says two stars is worth a detour... we had to just walk past 5 doors on our street!

Marbella is what it is.
Marbella is what it is. I am not a big fan, i live in Mallorca, and this part of Spain is not my thing, but who am i to judge. But it{s not cheap. That said, Mr Noodles down the road was very reasonable.

The location was perfect. we had stayed in that complex previously and being right on the beach was brilliant The apartment was well-equipped and very comfortable. We ate more in the old town which was great. Getting around is easy- walking or cycling is the best answer.
The not so good news was communication. There was no information provided with the keys. We didn't get the password for the internet until halfway through the holiday. The agent didn't answer their phone and was very slow to respond. Most bizarrely it seems we still haven't paid! Despite card details on booking.com. The agent asked us to go to the office to pay and was not there. Said she would provide bank details and never did, I am sure there is an explanation but it is an experience we never have had before. We are still happy to pay!

I chose Marbella as we hadn't stayed there before, being furtherSouth the climate was warmer, it didn't disappoint! there were 2 days of (much needed) rain at the end.
We stayed very close to "Orange Square", a truly delightful area, full of small shops, eating places and history. There were many tourists visiting the area, (coach parties) which simply added to the vibe. We found the municipal market, great for fresh fish! We walked all around, there is the castle, parks, and beaches. Busses are cheap to get around. On our return we had a direct coach from the bus station (top of Marbella) to the airport for 6 Euros each!! Plenty of restaurants. Yes, a few homeless people, yes young African men selling items on street. pavements
Location is perfect, right beside many shops and restaurants. Beach is less than 5 mins walking.
Hotel is super clean and has a convenient online check in. The staff greeted us when we arrived and were very friendly. The room was cutely decorated, very clean, with good air conditioning, fluffy towels, and comfortable pillows. It's a big room size for a city center hotel in a European city
Highly recommend this gem in Marbella
Newly refurbished, everything about the hotel is brand new. Reception, dining areas, pool bar, rooms are all sparkling clean.
Location is perfect to have the best of both worlds between the historic old town and the beach front of Marbella.
Rooms are modern and have everything required.
In particular the pool area (360 Blue) is very impressive. Mix of quiet pool bar during the week with it being more lively at the weekend.
The location was perfect, right behind the golden mile of Marbella 1Km from Marbella center walking by the promenade sea side, 3Km to Puerto Banus walking (or running).
The house was overall a beautiful place to stay. The pool was pretty big so you could have a decent swim. The patio is nice, BBQ on the rooftop is the best for dinner. The beach was so close and really worked well for us with 4 small kids.
We stayed for 6 nights and had the most wonderful time! The staff were extremely helpful and so friendly, the rooms were comfortable and the pools/beach club were fab. We really enjoyed it. Its a little drive into Marbella and not many bars/restaurants within walking distance but the restaurants at the hotel and on the beach served amazing food. Would recommend for couples as the setting was perfect.
Great location in the city center, close to the beach and the old town. The hotel feels cozy and comfortable like home. José and his wife are the nicest people who are ready to help and advise you on everything you need. Complimentary tea, coffee and pastries for breakfast. Bicycle rental is also included in the price of the room. If I return to Marbella, I will definitely visit this hotel!
Superb design hotel with lovely pool area, most accommodating staff and excellent breakfast buffet. Rooms are light and modern with large balconies, or on the top floor, with large terraces and sea vew. Large parking garage underneath. Prices are reasonable for Marbella standards when staying just off the Golden Mile. A luxury oase in busy Marbella.
Great hotel, with good all round facilities. The hotel staff were fantastic and very helpful to make sure our stay was enjoyable.
Special mention to hotel manager Alfredo for his direct input and assistance to find some great locations to visit near hotel.
Visit to Marbella old town is a must, stunning streets snd tapas.
The hotel itself is bright and airy with lots of natural light and has all the facilities you would ever need. The staff were helpful and the room was immaculate, clean and very comfortable. The location is excellent and only a short walk into the bars and restaurants in Puerto Banus. I will definitely stay again.
Location was amazing, 2 minute stroll to the beachfront and 10 minute walk to the Old Town.
Room far exceeded my expectations, it was far better than some 4* hotels I've stayed in Spain before.
The staff were great, couldn't be more helpful or friendly. Would rush back here if I visit the region again.
Very comfortable apartment hotel at the promenade in Marbella, 5 minutes walk to the charming old town. My room was nicely decorated, I had amazing sea view from the balcony. Great staff, special thanks to Mercedes and her friendly colleagues from the reception. I would definitely return to this hotel.
Hotel El Faro Marbella does exactly what it says on the tin, it’s centrally located and extremely close to the beach and old town. Rooms are big, clean, and the beds are comfortable. Air-con working and lots of hot water. Staff friendly and efficient. Good value, especially in Marbella!
The house was amazing!! Wide, luxurious and clean areas with amazing views. The neighborhood was very calm, private and safe, just outside of Puerto Banús area. This stay is a perfect balance between a luxurious couple's holiday and accessibility to Marbella's best.
Personally my favorite location to stay in Marbella near the old town as it’s close to everything. The room was so nice and comfy and clean.I stayed at some other hostels in this area and this was the best one.
Very big cozy bad 😍. Big balcony. Beautiful bathroom. I am really in love in this hotel. I recommend it. On the roof is swimming pool, it was very warm and nice. Great stay in Marbella. I will come back here!
The hotel was incredible. Wished it was on the beach as the beach was a 15 minute walk. The facility and staff were great. The food at breakfast was great. The room was excellent and large for three people.
Absolutely stunning hotel. Just beautiful. So clean, so well made. It has such a charm about it...especially the location. Perfectly located in Marbella Old Town. Can't wait to go back.
Great location in centre of Marbella. A few minutes from beach and old town. Modern hotel with good sized rooms. Rooftop pool terrace was great. Nice breakfast. Staff were very helpful.
Everything was as food as I expected. The hotel is very close to the best places in Marbella and to the sea.
