We stayed in the Stable which is a self catering apartment separate to the hotel. It was spacious and clean and you could still use the hotel and its facilities. We had a light bite and it was delicious. We did not try the a la carte menu. The hotel grounds were beautiful.

The bed was extremely comfortable and the room very clean. The breakfast room was a bright, sunny space and the entire breakfast process was friendly and extremely efficient. There was a great choice on offer and the hot breakfast was well cooked and delicious. Jo had plenty of up to date information, leaflets etc on display in the breakfast room and was a great source of information herself. The location of the house is excellent and has car parking and is within walking distance of the town and ferry terminal.

It is not a good place to eat out if you are diabetic.
It is not a good place to eat out if you are diabetic. There is a very good cafe/restaurant in a courtyard halfway up the Highstreet on the right hand side going up. There was a pet food shop across the courtyard. They had more to offer than cakes, pasties and chips! They also make amazing smoothies. There is an alternative walk down to the harbour avoiding a steep cobbled road, if you are unsure on your feet. I could find no tourist information. The station has a good selection of leaflets on train museums etc in Fife Scotland and around the country. Apparently for some unknown reason, the New Forest hop on and off buses do not begin until July. Surely, they would be used outside of school holidays. Last year I spent a day on them and they would be great for visitors who are on foot who usually avoid school holidays.

Lymington was lovely.
Lymington was lovely. We went to the Saturday market where we bought local products for reasonable prices. The Angel pub was a find, as was The 6 Bells for breakfast.
Car parking was available, but quite pricey.
Good location for visiting IOW, the New Forest and Exbury Gardens.

Lymington is charming, historic and a lovely Georgian Town. Not having the big chains means there are lots of independent varied outlets. The pub food is always amazing wherever you go and The Haven restaurant is awesome !

Lymington was a great place to visit, it had a real energy and buzz about it. The shops were good, seemed like quite a few independent shops and the charity shops had some quirky items in them, too. The Saturday market exceeded my expectations and was really interesting. The marinas were popular with visitors and it was nice to sit in the sunshine to watch the ferry to the Isle of Wight docking and leaving. Some really nice café and deli places to visit and a host of interesting pubs to sample local ale and gins.

A nice town with independent cafes and boutiques.
A nice town with independent cafes and boutiques. We enjoyed lovely walks around the harbour and along the flats, we could have walked for hours. Great local ice cream and a gluten free flapjack shop - Flapjackery. So good we went back the next day!
The location is close the new forest and an easy drive from home, it’s the first trip for family (the second for me, the previous trip with the girls) and we will certainly return.
The B&B was in a good location, a 5 minute drive to Lymington High Street, or a 20 minute walk.
The host, Elaine, was very accommodating, kind and helpful. She prepared breakfast each morning based on our requests.
The room was a good size, and had a good wardrobe space. We had a private bathroom (not en-suite) which was clean, tidy & had everything we needed.
The was space to park our car out front, which was convenient.
If we are in the area agin, we’d definitely stay at the Little Gem!
The facilities were great and was included in the price we had paid. They have an outdoor swimming pool as well as an indoor with spa and steam.
Location is great, especially if you want to travel to Isle of Wight. The pier is a minute away from the hotel. Very convenient. Lymington town is nice and has some cute stores and cafe.
Accomodation was comfortable.
Staff are friendly.
Enough parking space.
Venue is spacious and has a lot of walking ground.
The hotel has a lovely warm cosy feeling with a log fire glowing. Plenty of room in the everywhere including restaurant to have dogs socially distanced. We had the family room as we like a big bed and plenty of room. Shower was great and it had a lovely roll top bath which I did test. All the staff were so friendly and Daisy our dog got a lovely saucer of treats when dining for breakfast and evening meal. Lovely 15 minute walk into Lymington.
We had a spacious room on the ground floor with plenty of storage.
We received a warm welcome upon arrival and the staff were friendly throughout our stay. The hotel is well positioned to explore nearby Milford on Sea, Lymington and other parts of the New Forest.
Spacious room at front of house, very comfortable and quiet and a short stroll into Lymington High Street. Cereals plus yoghurts, milk orange juice, bottled water provided in communal fridge outside the room along the corridor which was much appreciated.
We had a lovely room, the staff were all very helpful and pleasant and the food was great! It is also dog friendly which is a big plus for us. The Mayflower is very close to the harbour and a few minutes walk takes you into the centre of Lymington.
The bed was a good size and very comfortable. Loved being on the High Street amongst everything and just a short walk to the harbour. Parking was excellent (at rear of hotel). We only had one dinner at the hotel but it was good.
The house is charming and very comfortable. Everything is catered for. It is tastefully decorated and a very relaxing place to stay The location is perfect in the centre of town and there are magnificent views over the harbour .
Location, staff, nicely equipped room, good menu and excellent food, lots of outdoor seating and a top priority for us - South Lawn is so dog friendly.
The doggie exercise paddock is a big bonus.
We really enjoyed our stay.
Tobias was very welcoming and friendly. The Hotel was in an excellent location, close to the harbour and the main high street. There was designated parking and a good selection of places nearby to have a meal.
Location was very good a short walk to the main Lymington high street and marina and easy to find the property
very large 2 bed apartment that had everything you needed
communal gardens and parking
The location is great only just round the corner from The Bosuns Chair which is our favourite pub in Lymington. The bed was very comfortable. We managed to park nearby for the whole week of our stay.
