Brussels is well-known as the headquarters of many European institutions and is often called the capital of Europe. However, Belgian waffles, beer and chocolate are just a few of the city’s best-known delicacies that can rival its political reputation.
French and Dutch are city’s two official languages so all streets and landmarks have two different names: don’t be surprised when you look for Grand Place and end up on Grote Markt!
Don’t miss the famous bronze statue aptly named Manneken Pis or the futuristic Atomium, a truly unique architectural creation. Wandering through side streets to discover small bookshops, romantic cafés and ethnic restaurants reveals Brussel's charm.
Brussels is a real melting pot of Europe, filled with great museums and art from Memling, Bosch or Rubens, historic breweries and great concert halls. Shopping addicts can visit the world’s first shopping mall, the Saint Hubert Gallery, opened here in 1847.
If you’re arriving at Brussels Airport or South Charleroi Airport, all major attractions are just a short train or bus ride away. Whether you’re looking for a design hotel, a comfortable apartment or a friendly B&B, Booking.com has something perfect for your Brussels trip.
A Lovely city with lots to do and see. I enjoyed visiting the Grand Place, the Chocolate Museum and the Atomium. The cobbler stones were not wheelchair friendly. The streets are not wheelchair accessible in lots of places.

We enjoyed one of the best meals we have ever had at restaurant Ottanta but I don’t understand why the City Council thinks it’s ok to have garbage bags strewn around the city left on footpaths for days before they are collected.
On civic pride I have to give Brussels one out of ten.

Brussels is a beautiful city.
Brussels is a beautiful city. The more you walk, the more you see it. Wonderful diversity of architecture, cuisine, culture; & courteous people. Except vehicle exhaust pollution. It’s bad. Brussels needs MORE electric cars. Only one seen in three days! The Capital City of European Union, promotes green eco technology. Need to ensure CLEAN AIR to humans. How about Brussels showing the lead to EU countries. Provide incentives for residents & visitors to GO ELECTRIC #evs

The centre of Brussels was very picturesque.
The centre of Brussels was very picturesque. There was a vibrant cafe / bar / restaurant scene with an excellent selection of food and Belgian beers. The centre is now largely cobbled and pedestrianised making it easy to stroll around and take in the sights.
The hotel is well connected so you can walk to the Grand Place and around in less than 15 minutes. You have the metro station near the hotel that will connect you to many places too.
The room is double standard, but we consider a little small (but we expected that in the center of Brussels) and is good for a couple.
We didn't try the breakfast but is open from 7 am until 10 am so you can take advantage of it if you have an early departure.
If you are a smoker, you cannot do so due to the hotel's non-smoking policy.
Le Barsey is where I love to be in Brussels. An astonishing "cachet", cozy and comfortable, close to everything but far enough from the center to be close to the forest. Two amazing people that I have to thank for this stay: Bertrand, the best manager this hotel could dream of, literally doing everything to make everyone happy, and Nicholas, "the chef". You need to taste his food but also the human touch, and then you will know why his recipes are so good. A big kudos for all the staff!
I best western quality adapted to the city center. I am used to more spacious and luxurious facilities in Best Western Hotels in general. In this case, as it is in the city centre, some compromises are necessary. Spacious rooms, clean, quiet (except from the heating system which you must turn off during the night otherwise the fan won't let you sleep). Most stuff were friendly, especially the gentleman at the breakfast in the morning (who is friendly and talkative).
So close to everything - Brussels Centraal is only around the corner, meaning a train to and from the airport is so viable. Less than a 25 minute walk to grand place, meaning you don’t have to get buses or taxis to and from town. The staff were all lovely, and the room was great. Rooms Aircon was brilliant - really needed it in the heat that was over there. All round great stay and super affordable, only payed half the price of any other similar quality hotel.
We really enjoyed our stay! Big room, comfortable bed, perfect pillows, super clean. The breakfast was fantastic, with a lot of choices, good quality ingredients, really tasty coffee. Good connection from the airport, either by bus or train. Around a 20 minutes walk from the city center, with several public transport connections throughout the city. Staff was super nice! I can only recommend this hotel and would choose it, without a doubt, again.
The hotel is located 10-15min walk to the city center, to the Brussels Midi Station, also there are many stores around. The room and the bathroom were big and clean. The bed was comfortable, as were the pillows. The staff is great and really helpful. The breakfast was delicious!! There isn't AC but there is an electric fan that really did the job.
We are really pleased with our stay at Hotel Van Belle
The room was very clean and I felt safe in the hotel. The staff was nice and helpful. Location was great - very close to the city center but not exactly there so the noise in night was not so strong. In the room was everything needed for few days stay. Very good rate value for money. I suggest it for short stay in Brussels. If available, I will book it again when in Brussels.
The President Brussels Hotel is situated close to the North Station and cca. 15 minute walk from city center of Brussels. The room is clean and comfortable, the breakfast is fair. Fitness room is in the building. Fridge and water heater are in the room. The staff is friendly and professional. The price is acceptable considering the neighboring hotels.
This is a lovely hotel with a boutique feel. The self-service check-in was efficient and easy and the decor is beautiful and well thought out (e.g. plugs and USB points by the bed).
Great location, just 10 mins from Brussels North station, which is a 10 min ride from the airport. From here you can easily walk to all the main attractions in Brussels.
Property is located on the very center of Brussels. You can walk everywhere from the hotel, there’s everything you need near by. They gave us the corner bedroom with the view of the city. Amazing room! Very modern and spacious bedroom and big shower. The staff was great and very attentive and helpful. Best experience ever.
The hotel itself is quite good, despite the fact it would need a renewal. My room was spacious and had everyhing I needed. Location is almost perfect; lots of eateries around, 50m to Rogier metro station and 5-10 min to both railway station (Brussels Nord) or old city center.
Breakfast fair, wifi good.
Hotel is located near Central Station and the main road, right next to the shopping area and 10 minutes walk from the Grand Platz (main attraction in Brussels); Good restraints and shops nearby. the room was quite big, yes comfortable.
Nice hotel close to the north station of Brussels, but also close to other places. It was easy to get to the city center. Breakfeast was good: partially western and partially Japanese, but you could pick what you wanted.
Clean room. New beddings. New, white towels. No smell. Most importantly, clean toilet and bathroom. Great place to stay because it's just in the city center. This hotel is just walking distance to WCO Brussels.
The hotel is convenient and located close to Grand Place and Brussels North Station. The price is not low but considering city center and Brussels, acceptable for short one to two days trip.
I had a great stay at this hotel in Brussels. The breakfast was excellent, the location was convenient just a few minutes away from the Grand Place, and the cleanliness was impeccable
Very good place to visit Brussels - close to train station and close to city center, walking distance to most of the attractions. Subway station next to the hotel
Very friendly staff, and a very clean hotel, nice breakfast and the bar is really nice, center to everything in Brussels and close to the train station.
