Breakfast was very good ... coffee was disappointing (dishwater!) but there appeared to be a problem with the machine. There is no alcohol served on the premises which is not made clear on booking but the the staff were extremely friendly and and as helpful as their facilities (rules) allowed. The location is stunning and the bedrooms are comfortable.

Warmly welcomed by Phil and Lana and made to feel very comfortable, with use of TV lounge with wood burner as well as large bedroom. Good refreshments in bedroom. Nourishing meal to revive me after day's cycling C2C. Cottage well furnished and full of character. Great night's sleep and lovely breakfast. Locked storage for my bike.
