Le Petit Labouret, hotel in Revest-du-Bion

Situated in Revest-du-Bion, 41 km from Village des Bories, Le Petit Labouret features accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace.

The setting was stunning, the room very quaint (refurbished old stables) and the price was very fair. We were able to book at short notice around 2pm for that evening. The host offered to make a lovely homecooked dinner for us with many local products (at a cost of course) as there are no restaurants or shops very closeby and we didn't feel like getting back on the motorbike after a long day. It was perfect for our needs. We were able to park our motorbike well inside the property close to the rooms, in the shade.

L'olivier sur la place, hotel in Revest-du-Bion

Offering a garden and garden view, L'olivier sur la place is situated in La Rochegiron, 49 km from Village des Bories and 41 km from Golf du Luberon.

Absolutely loved our stay at L'olivier sur la place! The studio room was the cute French countryside cottage we were hoping for. It has a small kitchenette with gas stove, sink, large fridge/ freezer (stocked with cold water and ice) and ample cookware/ crockery. It has a lovely lavender perfume which is very fitting. The toilet is also separate from the other bathroom amenities which is always appreciated. The included breakfast consisted of fresh bread, honey, jam, orange cake, yoghurt, fruit, tea/ coffee and juice. It was delicious and happily enjoyed in the lovely courtyard garden each morning. It is located in the very small village of La Rochegiron which is surrounded by lavender fields (most of these are harvested end of July). You will need a car to enable access and allow you to explore more of what Provence has to offer. The best part of our stay was definitely our hosts, Patrick and Muriel! It was like staying with family. They went over and above to make us feel welcome and at home, even giving us a ride home from town and taking us to some local lavender fields still in bloom when we though we had just missed out. They don't speak much English and we speak next to no French but this was nothing google translate could not overcome. Could not recommend staying at L'olivier sur la place enough!!

Château de la Gabelle Férrassières, hotel in Revest-du-Bion

Located in Ferrassières, in a historic building, 39 km from Village des Bories, Château de la Gabelle Férrassières is a bed and breakfast with a garden and bar.

This was our second stay at Chateau de la Gabelle. There is a village by this name also so be aware of that when booking. This property is fabulous! The proprietress has rebuilt an old family property into a lovely oasis in the middle of lavender fields. If you go at the right time (mid-july to mid-august) you will be there while they are harvesting the lavender and the air is full of the scent! We arrived a day earlier than we'd expected and dropped by to see if Isabelle could accommodate us. She said our room was ready and graciously served us dinner that night, too! We spent our days exploring the area. Isabelle told us great places to check out. We were sooooo relaxed and enjoyed our stay so much we were sad to leave. We'll be back for a third visit!

Domaine du Val de Sault, hotel in Revest-du-Bion

Domaine du Val de Sault offers 4-star accommodation with free Wi-Fi and a minibar 1.5 km from the centre of Sault. The property features indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a fitness room.

It’s a large property with everything you need and that has been built and developed over years by the owner who has invested his life into it. We were in October so at the end of the season so unfortunately couldn’t benefit from the pool and the sundeck. Surely worth a visit during summer season as it has a lot of shadow and trees. The region around is absolutely stunning. Was really impressed by the breakfast!! So many choices and many homemade cakes and viennoiseries. A real treat!
