The accommodations are in Eltville which is a beautiful town on the Rhein. Hotel Eltvinum was run by a nearby hotel which was located 200 to 300 meters away. The other hotel (either Weinhotel Koegler or Hof Bechtermuenz Hotel as both names were involved) had a very good staff, an exceptional breakfast and good parking. The physical distance between the two places was not a problem but it was useful to know this beforehand. The Weinhotel Koegler was close to nice restaurants and to the Rhein River where one could take a very nice walk after dinner. In the Hotel Weinkoegler one could enjoy a very nice breakfast (to eat either inside and al fresco). The actual room (located in another building) was very nice and the room and the bathroom were modern. There was ample room to hang up clothes or to store them in a cabinet. We will definitely return to this place (either Eltvinium or Weinhotel Koegler or Hof Bechtermuenz Hotel) as it was very nice and in a good location (with parking) and good service and breakfast.

Great location in a small park close to the market place opposite the vineyards, 5 minute walk from the train station (operating every 30 minutes to Wiesbaden/Frankfurt and Rüdesheim, but never on time). Old winery house, probably 18th century, with correspoding rooms with wooden shutters. Very clean, modern bath with a tub and shower with several shower heads. My room was facing the federal road to Rüdesheim, but I had no problems sleeping with open windows and I hardly heard anything from the nearby "Strawberry Festival". Breakfast was decent, check-in and -out no problem.

Really friendly staff Thoughtful facilities in the place - eg washing machine, enough cooking and eating things, hairdryer, very comfortable bed and pillows, great views, lamps, easy access, great instructions to park and enter, some basic cooking things eg oil - salt- tea- coffee. Well located Clean Italian restaurant with great ambiance - staff and menu on the ground floor - great communication with the place to confirm arrangements
