Mapusa is a rapidly growing tier 2 city in the heart of Goa and the erstwhile capital of Bardez, the upper half of the State. Home to the Bahmonns and a lot more wildlife. Proceed with caution :).
The city is not a popular tourist spot, but a key hub for bus transit to the hundreds of beachside resorts close by. From a footfall perspective, Pednem and Mopa are the new action points. However, growing consumption from local travelers results in enhanced business activities in this city.

Mapusa is good if you want to be a bit far from the hustle bustle of the beach & tourist, yet you can drive down in 10-15 minutes. Also you are accessible to the highway so you ca go to Panaji or other places quickly.

The place was very good .
Great room great service and great ambience affordable price .Nice swimming pool is also there and gallery also gives a nice view.
The rooms are very spacious food is also delicious .It was my 2nd time visit to these place the staff is really good and helping .Overall hotel is very good it's outside from crowded place and you get peace here and specially the guy akash from West Bengal is helpful he takes care of your needs about the hotel.
This was the second time I booked at Vilena. It was a rags to riches kind of a situation, wherein we had just checked out of Ciiroc Morjim and moved here as we had our bus to Pune from Mapusa. The staff and the facilities were just so pleasant and heartwarming, unlike the experience we had in Ciiroc. The smile on the face of the staff made our no so good 5 days at Morjim vanish. The rooms were good and swanky clean.
My recent stay at SD Dsouza Heritage in a serene setting was a delightful experience. The rooms were immaculately clean and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The overall quality of service was exceptional, making for a truly top-notch experience. I am eagerly looking forward to returning to this wonderful hotel in the future.
Stayed first time, nice cosy room, it was just for one night, near the Mapusa Court where I had some work. We checked in at 00.30. The receptionist was also welcoming.
The owner Mr. Vishal Gaonkar was a nice host too. He was personally looking after the guests at the breakfast room.
Will recommend friend and family.
the hotel was comfortable for stay as well as for budget, location is plus point, very near to mapusa bus stand, just walk-able from main mapusa area, easy to identify,
Must mention the owner was eager to help, guided me regarding location of my visit, tried to arrange transport for me, must appreciate his enthusiasm
It was a very comfortable stay at hotel green Park. The location of the hotel is excellent, located on the highway itself. The hotel room was neat and clean. The hotel has a house restaurant which offers good food and drinks options. Overall a pleasant stay.
Location of hotel is near the Mapsa bus stand which is good. The hotel in general is a low budget hotel which needs to be freshed up. Typically Indian city 1* star hotel we got a free upgrade from fan room to AC room so in a way we were satisfied.
The hosts were very welcoming and helpful- Cyrose helped a lot with directions, booking vehicles . The rooms are really clean- everything is well maintained. The beach is in walkable distance. I had a very pleasant stay!
WSN Staff very friendly..Vinson is very cooperative & easy to go. Good property..very close to popular beaches like Calangute, Baga... & Near to Maposa local market
