A quaint village close to Totnes with easy car access to Dartmouth and Salcombe. Lanes leading to it are narrow but one way traffic in and out. It has a pub should you not want to travel far for evening meal.

The location is excellent, hidden away but only 2 miles from Totnes. The room was beautiful and made you feel like it was a real treat to be there, comfortable and quiet with excellent ensuite facilities and own stairs. Breakfast was perfect and vegetarians catered for without a problem. Felt so welcome and will definitely recommend it to all my friends and family. Thank you too to Bella, an incredibly friendly dog x

Great cooked breakfast with fresh,local produce. Back in the area where I grew up for a funeral, lovely to revisit old haunts, see old friends, and Francesca was so kind and interested. If you are new to the area, so easy to access both coast and Dartmoor. Local pubs great, need to prebook The Cott in Dartington even midweek as very popular. The host was warm and inviting, the room clean and spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable with lovely sheets to sleep in.
