The self guided tour of the maritime history, superb buildings and a walk to "The Walks" beautiful open park with the band playing on the Sunday afternoon, brilliant atmosphere. The shopping area is really good and the pubs and restaurants especially the WENNS and the Crown and Mitre we loved.

A most intersting town with remarkable surviving ancient buildings and outstandingly good mueums. Takes a good three days to do it any sort of justice. Good range of eating places covering all price ranges. Good Wetherspoons! Worth a trip on the foot ferry across the river with very good photo opportunities. Also, a range of interesing churches. We only mananed to do one day of the annual music featival and will return to hear more.

King's Lynn is something of a Jekyll and Hyde' town.

King's Lynn is something of a Jekyll and Hyde' town. Its historic buildings and districts are superb and match anything else in England. It has some very good places to eat and drink. However, its newer buildings, including the shopping centre are 'nondescript' (I am being kind here). But it is a town that is well worth visiting.

Great place with some fantastic historic buildings to explore, area generally flat so easy to get around. Be aware that some of the historic areas are cobbled streets and surfaces very uneven if you have any mobility issues.

Compact town centre, Corn Exchange was a very good venue, we also went to the old cinema, which was worth it just for the stained glass. Would consider bringing a bike next time, very good and easy walking out towards Sandringham which would have been easy to cycle on

The older part of Kings Lynn down by the river is well worth a visit. Its full of historic buildings and alleyways. Fooderies are plentiful and offer varied cuisines. Particularly good is the ‘Tipsy Teapot’ with its Tex-Mex style menu. Prices are reasonable. Regrettably it rained for most of our stay which meant we were unable to visit some of the places we wanted to. Not Kings Lynn's fault. We’ll be back!
