Great city. Visited a few times. Nice to get out and about and see more of the city rather than just the old town. Kazimierz was lovely. Lots of cafe bars. Podgorze basic but nice. Try the Lody (ice creams), donuts. Don't just try draught beers - hundreds of bottled beers. Lovely museums. Boat trip up the river nice. Salt mines - great but got sick of people being underfoot when walking. Auschwitz OK - make your mind up whether you really want to see it as if not your thing could put a dampner on your holiday. Try some polish food - get some zurek, kielbasa, pierogi, Possibly try a milk bar. Nice flea market in Kazimierz on a sunday morning.

It is was one of the underrated cities in Europe.
It is was one of the underrated cities in Europe. Eating out is cheaper than many of Europen cities, many things to see, explore the history. Not all of them pleasent , such as visiting Austwichz and Oscar Schindler Factory but it is necessary to see what the world went through and that many people suffered. City is easily explored on foot, many places on walking distance.

Krakow has been a hidden gem for us. Great atmosphere, a lot of young people (it is a Uni town after all :) But roaming through the architectural wonders so specific for this part of Poland was very pleasurable and exciting. The only hint as a watch out is - be really careful when checking the weather forecast as it tends to be more rainy even in June (or leave more space in the suitcase for the additional clothes you will buy ; ) Beautiful city with lots of history. Krakow is amazing, I have been several times and I see something new everytime I visit. The old town is safe to walk around in the evening and the restaurant prices are reasonable. Download the app bolt as it is like Uber and is safe, secure and cheap too! We ate at a milk bar which was a great experience and I would recommend it. Beautiful city with lots of walking and plenty of places to rest.. We are 82 years young and loved the atmosphere, the people, and the food was outstanding! Nice combination of food shops and souveniers. Easy to get around.. Proud to be Polish- American!

Krakow is a lovely city, definitly worth going to especially if you like architecture and the more quircky things. We went to a Witcher inspired tavern and a harry potter cafe so my nerdy side was very happy. Also the food options are endless there is so much variaty to choose from. Definitly don't skip on going to Auswitz but be prepared and make sure you go early in the morning, also the castle shouldn't be missed very impressive.

We also organised tours through the hotel and can highly recommend their suggestions for an all-day tour to Auschwitz as well as the 1.5 hour tour of Krakow by electric golf cart.

Contactless getting keys. Parking is possible cca 5min walking from the apartment. Apartment is suitable also for 2 couples who don't mind to share kitchen and bathroom. We stood one night so we didn't have oportunity to use the kitchen that much. It is almost on The Main Square, which is beautiful as well as the whole city centre of Kraków.

We rented a car and we had to pay for parking between 10am and 8pm however parking was cheap and we always managed to find a space right outside the apartment. The property has appliances and even tea and coffee to help ourselves. It was easy to find and using the codes and key-safe to get in the property.
