The gentleman who was on the hotel reception on arrival and on the following morning was beyond excellent in his service. He showed us a local eatery for some food as most were closed that day, he took us to the roof so that we could see the view and was fantastic entertainment to my 14 year old. When we needed to leave he also got us a taxi to pick us up and take us back to the ferry port at Tangier.

First thing that comes to mind: excellent staff
Extremely friendly staff both at reception or at entry
Very beautiful hotel
They gave us a room at the 3rd floor to be far from the restaurant as there was a wedding - we couldn't here a thing luckily and slept very well.

A prosperous town with lots of people living their lives out on the streets. The Medina is not as pretty as the Fes Medina but felt more relevant to the daily needs of Moroccans and much less crowded. Delicious and inexpensive pastries available everywhere!

Tetouan is one of (if not the most) beautiful city in Morocco. The people there were amongst the friendliest I have encountered in Morocco in the two trips that I have been there. Many foreigners go to stay at the nearby beach properties, and miss out on the jewel that is Tetouan.

It's a strange city.
It's a strange city. We stayed in it for four days and it seemed very long to me.
Very interesting old medina, but 2 days to see the city is enough.
I found there was almost no place to eat in the city - we had to go to Martil for a fish restaurant.

The place is very amazing and i wish i had more days to stay here. I got a chance to visit another city an hour away called Chefchouane (The Blue City) its another small city not far from Tetouan and i will definately recommend a visit there, its has amazing falls and friendly markets and. All in all Tetouan has alot to offer and if you ever get a chance to spend time in the city centre of Tetouan please i will advice to go to a small coffe shop called AMAZING COFFEE, they make coffee to die for and the staff and owner are just very friendly and great people. Generally i will sum up by saying i will be back here cos its a really good place.

Excellent value for money for food. people very friendly but be prepared to contend with a lot of people insisting on offering to bring you on tours of Medina etc, this was the only annoying thing I found on the trip but very hard to avoid. Very cheap restaurant called "La Union" in Teteoun, taxi service is excellent and cheap.

It was definitely better than expected!
It was definitely better than expected! I was glad I came, because it is small enough for getting easily around but big enough so there is something to see. The airport is very close to the centre and to the beach, so I walked to the centre and followed the main avenue, it was beautiful also in the evening and the Medina is enormous and very genuine! I think Tetouan is underrated in terms of Moroccan sights, then again the weather took a turn for the cold mid-November, which was a bit unexpected, so I did not go to the beach, it was too chilly
One of the best experiences in Morocco. It very clean, cosy but most fascinating is host service and energy. we felt like meeting a friend who shows around and helps with everything. Its amazing after getting tired in medina streets to unlock this oasis, have great tea on terrace and relax. Recommended to everyone. we had a car - no issues with parking and finding hotel - host met us on street, showed all way and helped with parking.
The male staff were very friendly and accommodating of several requests I made. The pod style beds were the main reason why I chose this hostel for my stay in Tetouan. The shower was great and it was (surprisingly) the first hostel I stayed at in Morocco that had a bum gun in at least one of the toilet stalls. The rooftop is quite nice. The hostel is easy to get to from the nearest medina gate.
I like everything about this riad, the vibe, the staff, the athmosphere and the location is so great, the hostel riad is a great mix between what's cutural, traditional ( the riad is from the 17th century) and what's modern and universal. I highly recommend the riad, my stay here has been a great experience ,everytime i go to tetouan i automatically go there.
Blanco Riad is a beautiful traditional B&B in the historic Medina of Tetouan with beautiful amenities and a delicious restaurant. I have been coming here for years and always feel so fortunate every time I am available to return. Asmae and the whole staff are so knowledgeable, sweet, and helpful.
Nicely decorated, tasteful house in a quiet area. The suites are very spacious and clean, the bathrooms new and luxurious with abundant towels and even bathrobes. Beds are the comfiest we've found in Morocco. The owners are very friendly and sweet.
The hotel was comfortable, well maintained, well furnished, and accommodating. The staff were very professional, courteous, helpful, informative, and very accommodating. The staff is what made our trip/stay very nice. The best ever. Thank you
Always we go to Tetouan we like to stay at the Hotel Atenas, we like everything, its location, cleanliness, breakfast and meals, and the staff is the best, always ready to help in whatever way they can and with a smile !!
Thanks again!!!
The receptionists are very helpful and welcoming and gave me two rooms to choose from, the hotel location is near by the markets, restaurants and cafés
The housekeeping is prompt and attentively tidy and neat.
The room was spacious and it had almost everything you might need. It had also, a fantastic view, the receptionist was kind.
The location of the hotel is good, and over all it was a good value for your money.
The staff were super nice. It was a great experience on my first day in Morocco. It was my first time taking a bus and the hostel staff even took me directly to the station!
