I stayed at the Fairfield for the first time. When I was going to arrive early I called the property and they said my room was all ready and I could come in anytime. That was great because I was going to have surgery and I had no idea when I be able to arrive. This hotel very close to where I was having surgery. There’s restaurants very close. The hotel lobby was clean. They had breakfast. My room was very nice and clean. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip.

I’m never going back to Fresno!
I’m never going back to Fresno! They should level the whole place and start fresh. Especially the tower district. Actually since I’m never going back, let’s move all the homeless people there. The crappy roads won’t be a problem, for people pushing a grocery cart or riding a bike.

Fresno has more to offer than many from outside the area realize. From this location you can access the mountains and Yosemite, get a sense of California’s breadbasket, go shopping and experience many types of restaurants, worthwhile if you are visiting from a less populated areas, buy a car, and any other activities not listed here.

Lots to see and do.
Lots to see and do. The zoo was a great place, but there were a lot of animals missing. There was a Japanese garden that was simply amazing! Lots of shopping and tons of food choices! If you're into cigars there are a number of good lounges to visit. Too many one-way streets for my liking. But using a navigation app really makes it pretty easy to get around.

Fresno is not the vacation destination and the city cares...
Fresno is not the vacation destination and the city cares not for the Hotel business and let’s them operate, when they should be shuttered. There are some newer areas, like where the Air BNB I stayed, that are very nice and close to the Collage stadium. That is why if you are staying in Fresno, for any reason, Serenity is your best bet for a nice stay.
Big shout out for the staff at Best Western Village Inn in Fresno (July 5th 2022). They sorted out an issue with our camping gear which we needed for the national parks, and contacted our car rental company when our car rental agency in the UK had given us the wrong address for pick-up. They were super helpful & friendly. Thanks again !
Otherwise, the hotel was clean and comfortable, and good value for money for a mid-range hotel/motel just off the highway. The hotel breakfast also got us on our way nicely the next morning.
This hotel is not standard, it is clearly better than most similar ones in their class. We had a fully new room, with a full kitchenincluded. The night stands have sockets as well as 2 usb outlets, which is perfect for charging. The TV is big and has all kind of channels available. The furniture is new. The bed is comfortable. REALLY outstanding is the breakfast, besides the standard things they have a pan cake machine and the full highlight is the taco station, this is just great.
hotel did not honor the booking.com reservation. i drove 30 minutes there and when i arrived the place was almost completely empty, they said they had no staff to clean the rooms, yet they allowed booking.com to reserve a room only 30 minutes previously. this hotel obviously has serious staff problems, but they should have reported this to booking.com, and booking.com should protect its customers better from bad properties
The rooms are very clean, as well as newly updated and quiet. The staff were extremely kind and went out of their way to accommodate anything we needed - including my food allergy. The courtyard is absolutely beautiful and a great place to sit outside with a drink from the bar. This property also has coin operated laundry, a pool, and a gym. We were very happy with our stay here!
The room was in an upper floor. It was relatively quiet considering. The room faced the convention center which was nice, because that is why we were in town. The location of the hotel was perfect, right across the street from the convention center. So we got to the hotel, were able to walk to go get some food, and then go to the convention center for our show and just walk back.
Exceptional place akin to a stay at a 5 star hotel. Beds are comfortable, rooms are spotless and managing couple have put a massive amount of thought into smaller details of interior and oitside area designs. Would be a great stay for families or working professional and at the price point it blows the competition out of park. Team should be proud of what they put together.
Jamie was very nice and personable. The hotel grounds were covered with beautiful flowers and citrus that her husband gardens. Four different varieties of oranges grown there were served with our breakfast. The room had a feel of a little studio apartment. It had it's own private patio too. If we're ever in Fresno again, this is where we'll stay.
They seem to be cutting costs on cleaning services by having us request specifically when we want room service if it's not been the 3rd night yet. Which personally I'm fine with. I usually don't like leaving my stuff in the hotel with the risk things of high value might get taken, so having room service only when I'm ready for it was perfect.
Hotel settings, beautiful hotel & rooms. Hotel has a lot offer for a comfortable family friendly stay but the staff do not seem interested in meeting those goals. Most staff seems bothered or upset when approached for service, I did not see/received any smiles, except the lady (receptionist) that checked us in.
The rooms were clean, smelled good. Furnished with everything you need, comfortable bed. We ended up here after we could not make ourselves stay at the San Joaquin Hotel, where we had our original reservation. The Summerfield Inn was a welcome sight after that .
The hotel was very nice, the woman at the reception very polite and considered all advance requests.
Thea are renovating, new furniture (no greasy old items), very clean.
Breakfast was normal: waffle machine, cornflakes, yoghurt
The hotel itself was very clean and nicely designed.
The staff was very friendly. The rooms were very clean and The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms had lots of towels. The tv had lots of channels and worked well.
Rooms were very nice n clean. It's peaceful at night n during the day it isn't too bad considering with everyone checking out. Area isn't bad for where the hotel located at. You have stores n restaurant near by.
I loved this hotel. The rooms are large. It’s homey and a bit nostalgic. The landscaping is lovely. The pool is very, very nice. I will always stay here if I come to Fresno. The staff was super helpful.
The hotel is Very nice. the location is very good, just next to few restaurants. The garden and pool also are very nice. The rooms are big and comfortable. The internet quality is good.
It’s the best hotel in Fresno hands down and one of the best I’ve ever stayed at. The room was great and the staff was amazing. Jeffrey was awesome and made us feel so welcomed.
Hotel in the garden, a lot of flowers. Terraces near each room. Quiet air conditioning. Comfortable beds, we slept well. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Jackson
