This little cabin was just perfect. We loved seeing the goats, chickens, ducks and bunnies. There was a beautiful stream running right in front of the property. It felt totally private though there were were other cabins close by. It was so much better than choosing a hotel for our stay.

lots of things to see and do in Ellijay and surrounding areas. You must visit the square and the shops, so many places to eat and visit so little time.
We would like to give a special shout out to Mikes Ellijay restaurant, the lunch was beyond our expectations!!
If you have time to visit Ellijay and the other sights in the area, its a little slower pace life.

Ellijay is beautiful, peaceful, not too commercialized or populated. We love the outdoors and there is plenty do to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Amicilola Falls Park is wonderful. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and everyone was very nice. We had great service at Cantaberry. We loved the Antique malls, quaint atmosphere. I recommend taking a trip on the Blue Ridge Railway and visiting the shops there. Dawsonwille is nearby to visit the Georgia NASCAR Hall of Fame and the best burgers are at The Pool Room in Dawsonville. Just a great overall experience and relatively no interstate driving from North Central Alabama. We can't wait to return to Ellijay.

Ellijay is really just an Orchard/Vineyard town. It is not worth visiting outside of the fruit season. Nothing to do or see, hardly any restaurants and a lot of places are just tourist traps. Worst breakfast we’ve ever eating in our lives was at The Country Corner Kitchen.

Ellijay is a great mix of a quaint little downtown with small local shops and also a larger business area with bigger retail stores and restaurants. Getting around was very easy and the drives are scenic. We had dinner at the "Roof" and breakfast at the "Corner Stone Cafe".
Both were excellent. One of the things we especially love about all of Ellijay is how pet friendly all the businesses are.

Everything exceeded my expectations.
Everything exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was legit, the location was great, staff was friendly. Plus the stay didn't cost an arm and a leg considering the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel. I would have expected to pay much more for this hotel.

Ellijay was charming and not as crowded at the holidays as surrounding towns. We were disappointed that all of the small businesses in town were closed on Monday and Tuesday. We ate at the River Street Tavern and the food was excellent and very friendly service.
The motel was close to the center of town. It was quiet and clean. The room had a fridge and microwave, which was a bonus. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in while traveling. The pillows actually supported our heads instead of completely deflating! Manager was helpful and friendly when our keycard briefly stopped working. Quickly got us back into our room. A bit expensive for a Budget Inn, but considering it’s fall in north GA it was actually a good deal.
Perfectly located between Ellijay and Blue Ridge! Quite an adventure to drive up to the cabin. Nestled in the mountains surrounded by trees, this cabin felt like a tree house with the entrance on the upper level, a large patio and very comfortable seating. Perfect for the family to gather in the evening after a day of hiking and sight seeing! The cabin itself was the perfect size for us. Incredibly peaceful with wild life abounding!
Beautiful location and house with a screened-in porch overlooking the Ellijay River. Deer played in the river in the morning. We had fun enjoying the river, fishing, listening to the water flow by, and sitting around the fire pit. The game room is fun too. Close to downtown Ellijay, The Rooftop restaurant is fabulous! Emily's open mic night with Gabe Myers is awesome.
we loved the screened in patio, my kids loved the swing and the big tv. It was clean and the kitchen was fully stocked (even with kid cups and plates). we enjoy our weekend trip throughly. For the same price of what the hotel quoted me, we got to enjoy this amazing little cabin!
On our very first night we saw a mama doe with her fawn, the cabin had everything you will need for your stay we all enjoyed playing all the board games with our family also played pool with the kids and enjoyed the night out at the fire place.best vaction ever.
The breakfast, and pool were acceptable, beds were comfortable, at least to our liking, shower was good and the hotel staff was friendly. Everything you could possibly need is in walking distance . Restaurants, walmart, gas stations etc.
