Staff was friendly and helpful. Very knowledgeable when asked about navigating the downtown area, suggested a free trolley that we weren't aware of to reach our destination. Room was great! Clean, bed very comfortable. Breakfast selections were plentiful and we'll prepared.

Good option for Cincinnati. Quick trip via freeway.
Cincinnati is a mixed bag. Great sports town with good resturaunts and amazing parks! But it is very trashed and the roads/traffic patterns are like trying to navigate 1920's New York with 2024 Vehicles. Just awful... Uber to everything!

My husband and I loved walking around taking in all the wonderful architecture that downtown Cincinnati has to offer. We also enjoyed the variety of eating options the area had to offer! Our favorite restaurants were Nickleson’s and the Metropole.

I was only there for part of the day and I explored the Taft Museum/National Park. It was very interesting and there is a lot of information on President Taft. The house is in great shape but does have a lot of steps, however there is also a hidden elevator. Just tell your guide about your mobility issues. I had plans to see the zoo but it was 35 degrees with snow flurries the next day. So I opted for the Creation Museum; it has really grown since my last visit! It is awesome.

Like many cities Cincinnati is beautiful in parts.
Like many cities Cincinnati is beautiful in parts. There is a great art and food scene, and plenty to do and enjoy. Transit is not particularly difficult and parking is difficult but available, and pricy.
The problem with Cincinnati is the level of crime and drug use throughout the city. One can't walk 100 yards without smelling marijuana and the promlems of poverty and homelessness are continuously evident. The good and bad parts are common to most cities. Oddly right across the river in Newport Kentucky the crime, drugs, etc. Seem basically non-existent. The Newport Aquarium and Hoffbrau Haus were great.

We came away with a much greater appreciation for the city of Cincinnati and Ohio in general. We appreciated amazing food, art deco architecture, art, and science in the city. The zoo is so much more than just Fiona. The animal enclosures are well-designed to provide a reasonable experience for the animals and great viewing for guests. The Cincinnati Museum Center and American Sign Museum were fun too.
It was my birthday weekend and my first time in downtown Cincinnati so I was excited. The hotel itself looked very nice and clean but I was disappointed bc our bed sheets had a weird brown/reddish stain (we asked for new ones) and the bed felt like we slept on concrete it was so hard. Very friendly staff memeber and that was probably the only good thing. My room was $185.95 and was not worth that at all. I probably would have been more comfortable at an $80.00 stay. Will never stay again.
Everything. WOW. From the second you walk in, staff is eager to help, at up is so cool/different from other hotels. The price was great, the room was terrific, and the staff were hands down the best crew of people we have gotten to meet in a long time. The gentleman at the desk early in the morning answered my call for a AA battery for my insulin pump and gave me two, without charging me. I was so thankful! Will absolutely recommend Tru time and time again. Thank you!
Large room, comfortable bed (this is always a good thing)
At most hotels, I complain the the breakfast provided doesn't work for me, as I am lactose intolerant. None of the hotels I have stayed at have plant-based milk for breakfast, so I can't have dry cereal with milk for breakfast. But ... Best Western Hannaford Inn & Suites had almond milk!! That was fantastic, I had some cereal with almost milk, loved it ... but there's more to the story, see below.
The hotel is extremely close to Cincinnati's medical facilities and university. It was both clean and quiet and the front desk staff was extremely friendly. While the decor seemed a little loud, I appreciated the fact that the hotel has a very distinctive look. It is definitely not your typical roadside hotel.
Stayed in Cincinnati on our way home from Nashville. Enjoyed a Reds game (12 mins to the Stadium) and checked out Newport Aquarium (6 mins from Hotel). Room was clean. Everything worked as should. Hot breakfast was decent. Friendly Staff. Private parking and a Mexican Restaurant across the parking lot.
There was no complimentary breakfast. The pool was smaller than anticipated but was clean and convenient. If I hadn't gotten the room for as cheap as i had paid i would have been even more upset with the lack of management and overall cleanliness of the hotel.
A beautiful hotel with a fenced in back patio and fire pit. A great indoor pool, and FREE laundry services!
Our room (306) had a full size fridge, dishwasher, and stove. Plus the beds were so comfortable I slept the best I had since leaving home.
The hotel was beautiful, clean and in a great location only 13 mins away from downtown Cincinnati which is why I was in town fir a concert. The hotel staff was amazing as well! I will definitely book here again in the near future!
We look for value and comfort. While the hotel seemed a bit dated, the rooms were very clean, and the bed was very comfy. It was close to everything, had a great free breakfast and for the price, it can't be best.
I did like that there is a place to dine and drink at. Being it downtown Cincinnati you will not find a little diner on the weekends that is open . Your only option is to pay for the dine in experience at the hotel.
I loved the location, especially for the price, we traveled in order to go to the zoo. The hotel was the perfect distance for us to the zoo, and allowed for DoorDash services in our evenings, and swimming!
The room was neat, bed was comfortable and the hotel restaurant was really good as well. We had dinner prior to the show we were there to see then stopped in to have drinks later.
It was ideal for a long stay, I stayed there for almost 2 months, is close to bus stops if you needed, and 15 min away from downtown and the zoo! It was pretty confortable de
I loved the cleanliness of the hotel and the updated-ness of the rooms. Nothing was out of place or broken my overall experience for my personal getaway was great!
